Temporary workaround for missing sidebar and truncated pages problem

Sorry that our recurring problem is back again. Have called and left messages for John, but haven't heard back yet. Hopefully he will check in soon.
Meanwhile, set your personal preference to 20 messages per page and 20 results per page and it should work.
Click "Account" at the top of the latest posts page, then "My Preferences."

I’m using Firefox. The sidebar has been truncated, but the body of the pages looks normal.

My prefs are set at 50. But I just opened a thread with 43 replies. I was only able to view 12, and the page was full. No “Next Page” or anything to allow me to see the other 31 responses.

I never notice when the problem occurs as long ago when we had to do that procedure I left it set as described in the above post. I’m never aware when the “problem” recurs unless I see a post like this one that tells me there is a problem.

I started using those settings, to include turning off the sidebars, some time ago and have no problems loading pages. If I really need to read more than 20 messages, it’s easy to load an additional 20 as I go.

I use Firefox also but am okay at 50 per page. Sidebar I have only front/extended set at 5 per and they display fine.
