Michael J White is an elementary school on the east side of Cleveland, in a statistically all-black neighborhood. It's not one of the worst neighborhoods, but it has a lot of poverty and inner-city problems. It's a wonderful, sprawling old school, and not one of the places I'd expect this to happen. It's a school with below-average academics, but learning does happen.

It's just sooooo Cleveland to have a near-riot brawl at a kindergarten graduation.

I think it is also silly to have sixth grade “graduation.” Graduation should mean that you are no longer obligated to attend public schools. The only graduation should be high school and college.

Are the teens and parents objecting to the kindergartners learning how to place square blocks in square holes? I’d imagine that’s a learning lesson that most liberals infesting Cleveland wouldn’t want or understand.
