So.... how long will he stay in office, and continue to vote ?
Who will Crispy Creme appoint? A Muslim Brotherhood stooge? A gay Black Democrat? Think I’m nuts? Well, those were his last two appointments to the NJ Supreme Court!
“....I wonder what Robert The Torch Torricelli is up to now?...”
He is still amazed that they got away with that one...
About freaking time. Buh bye, gungrabber.
One shouldn’t speak ill of the dead but..... Lautenberg was a dinosaur lib on his second tour of the Senate. To call him somnambulent would be giving him too much energy. Of course the brain-dead and real dead voters in NJ saw fit to send him back to the Senate. Now let’s see whom Christie appoints as a fill-in till next year’s election.
Christie is awaiting the call from the White House on a potential replacement.
I’ll withhold comment
It’s like the third or forth time.
“If a vacancy shall happen in the representation of this State in the United States senate, it shall be filled at the general election next succeeding the happening thereof, unless such vacancy shall happen within 70 days next preceding such election, in which case it shall be filled by election at the second succeeding general election, unless the governor of this State shall deem it advisable to call a special election therefor, which he is authorized hereby to do, New Jersey law reads. The governor of this State may make a temporary appointment of a senator of the United States from this State whenever a vacancy shall occur by reason of any cause other than the expiration of the term; and such appointee shall serve as such senator until a special election or general election shall have been held pursuant to law and the Board of State Canvassers can deliver to his successor a certificate of election.
The Lord works in mysterious ways he wonders to perform.
I hope Christie appoints a real conservative.....wait. This is New Jersey. We'll get a RINO or worse.
I suspect that the death was expected for a while. That is why Obama has been sucking up to Christie. Obama wants veto rights over anybody that Christie selects. I’m sure Christie is tripping over himself trying to find someone who he believes will support Obama.
Well, bu bye.
Rest in Peace.
Who’s the oldest member of the Senate now? Dianne Feinstein I assume? She turns 80 in a few weeks.
I never agreed with his politics and it is my hope that he repented his crimes against the Lord before his death. May our Good Lord rest his soul.
