Federal investigators are looking into allegations that the former head of the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation’s Superior field office has been selling guns without a federal license.
DCI Administrator Dave Matthews told The Associated Press on Thursday that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has been investigating Special Agent Jay Smith for several months. ATF spokesman Bob Schmidt confirmed the probe.
Smith declined comment when reached on his cellphone Thursday.

There should be lots of articles because there have been many articles written on this scandal. However, I cannot find any off hand. I must be using the wrong search words.
