Santa Monica, CA -- A shooting has been reported near the campus of Southern California's Santa Monica College. Santa Monica police Sgt. Rudy Flores several victims are down and the shooter is also believed to be down.
Flores says numerous witness called to report a man on a street corner shooting at vehicles including a bus. The location is about three miles from where President Barack Obama is appearing at a fundraiser.
Santa Monica College is a two-year college with about 34,000 students. The campus in the coastal Los Angeles suburb spreads out over 38 acres.

Sounds like from local news it happen off the campus. They broken into a fascinating story about a fight at grade school talent show somewhere in the mid west.
The radio just reported a description of one of the perpetrators. “A white male with dreadlocks”. It will be interesting to see what the reality is. Note that they identified his race which, had he been black, they would not have done.

I went to Santa Monica College many years ago and they are talking to a witness on TV who says that one of the suspects was Asian..so weird watching the coverage knowing I used to go there

SMC is primarily Asian, Hispanic, and Black..when I went there you hardly saw any white kids..since they are SMC students, I can imagine their facebook pages, loves Obama, loves the DNC, and loves free stuff
