SWAT-clad man uses assault rifle in chaotic Santa Monica shooting spree
http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/2013/0608/SWAT-clad-man-uses-assault-rifle-in-chaotic-Santa-Monica-shooting-spree?nav=89-csm_category-topStories ^ | June 8, 2013 | Patrik Jonsson

A semi-automatic assault rifle is again being tied to a US mass shooting, this one a chaotic series of events led by a body-armor-clad man who killed four and wounded five people before being shot and killed by police in a college library in the iconic beachside city of Santa Monica, Calif.

The attack marked the first major mass shooting since a bipartisan gun control bill failed in the US Senate in April. The shooting may help efforts to revive the debate about gun control, as well as put focus on ongoing legislative action in some states around allowing students and faculty to carry weapons on campuses to help thwart active shooters who target what are usually so-called "gun free" zones.

AR-15s and other semi-automatic rifles are used in far fewer homicides than hand guns, but have become symbolic of America’s struggle to contain violent and public mass shootings. They’re immensely popular because of their ease-of-use, accuracy and customizability. Critics argue that the rifles are designed to be militaristic and offensive. Fans of the guns say they have no more lethality than a standard hunting rifle.

It's all the fault of the "assault rifle", not the criminal...

Anti-gun editorial masquerading as news -- instead of reporting the news, the author uses it to advocate gun control...

The Christian Science Monitor was supposed to be a reputable newspaper...

CA already has all the things the gun grabbers want to inflict on the nation, as far as I am aware, including formal registration of defensive rifles. But it didn’t stop this particular crime. So why is the CS Monitor using the incident as a reason to push expansion of the same failed policies elsewhere? Answer: because the facts don’t matter in the pursuit of this particular agenda.

When you have a place like Santa Monica, California, which has no restrictions on guns whatsoever, of course, these things are bound to happen.

Apparently the shooter was killed, but they say they don’t have info as to the motive.

Gunman Kills 4 in California Before He Is Killed

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/08/us/santa-monica-college-shooting.html?_r=0

“Four people were killed and five wounded on Friday morning as a gunman, dressed in black and carrying an assault rifle, strode across Santa Monica firing at people, cars, a public bus and buildings before being shot and killed by the police at the Santa Monica College Library, the authorities said. “

The shooting may help efforts to revive the debate about gun control...

Americans could really squelch this "debate" if we could convince the local "news media" Ken and Barbies to report that all of the victims were heterosexual conservatives and members of the local TEA Party.

Obvious conclusion. Ban SWAT type clothing. Makes bad guys feel badder. So, I read somewhere he had on body armor. Head shot? That’s what I was taught anyway. Double tap to the noggin if you’re good/accurate enough. Only one if your caliber of choice is big enough.

FBI, police probe gunman in Santa Monica shooting spree

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-fbi-police-gunman-in-santa-monica-shooting-spree-20130608,0,4640970.story

“The gunman, who was also fatally shot by police to end Friday’s harrowing incident, has not been identified. But law enforcement sources said his first victims were his father and brother, whose bodies were found in a burning home.”

If they know who his father and brother were, how come they couldn’t identify the shooter?!

All the deranged killers are deranged.

And derangement in America is part of the strategy of those people I rail about all the time. When one wants gun control laws to be passed, provide some terror attacks to make the population feel that submitting to gun control is in their best interest.

Indoctrination schools, deranged psycho-pills industry, entertainment media that glorifies immorality. All have ties to the foundation system.

A CIA that has admitted the MKUltra progam in Senate testimony. And it has ties to the foundation system.

Would those running our government use what’s at their disposal to attack American citizens ?

The IRS thingie gives us proof of that plain as day.

Hints:

Damning evidence and information is spirited away into the private sector; Sandy Berger’s theft gives us recent hard evidence of that.

The Foundations are run outside of ANY oversight whatsoever and no scrutiny and are free to serve any needs of the financial oligarchy, whose forefathers’ capital placed in these tax-exempt organizations is now worth many many billions. They can carry on missions that span generations and they are self-perpetuating and self-funded.

Come on, this was not a rogue Amish lad on Rumspringa. Almost certainly, a former convict, and as such, very likely a convert to Islam.

Which would go far to explain a lot.

I read somewhere he had on body armor. Head shot? That’s what I was taught anyway.

A round from a.45 on body armor is going to hit the person wearing the body armor with the force of a lead pipe or a tree trunk. If you're a decent shot armed with a .45, the guy wearing body armor will be on his ass, head shot or not.

Gotta love them 45’s. Not sure if the LEOs there carry that. Maybe .40 but I’m thinking 9mm. And of course that ever popular (with criminals that is) AR variant in that exceedingly high powered .223. Kind of doubt that bad guy can run at 3000+/- fps.

The shooter was an AR-15 assault rifle machine gun. That’s all we need to know.

There is no need to know the name of the poor victim who was forced by the AR-15 to carry it around, point it at other victims, and pull its trigger over and over and over. AR-15s are evil, I tell ya.
