ABC News ^ | Jun 5, 2013 | Jim Avila

Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, left the group after saying he could not come to an agreement with the other members on health care ... Labrador was expected to play a key role in the House, similar to that of Marco Rubio in the Senate... Labrador, a tea party Hispanic with ties to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, is viewed as a critical loss, even by Democrats. The remaining three Republicans (are), Reps. John Carter of Texas, Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida and Sam Johnson of Texas

One of the few good news we have had on amnesty. Unfortunately, the Senate bill will pass. The battle now is to keep Boehner from bringing the complete Senate bill up in the House. It is not too soon to start the pressure on Boehner and Cantor. Reid will bring up the Senate bill for a vote by the July 4 recess. Write, email, call Boehner and, if you are even in their state, put pressure on the remaining Republicans in the gang in the House.

I wonder what the heck the NSA and IRS has on Haley Barbour that caused him to swerve to the left past Barry Soetoro. “Americans for a new ‘conservative’ Direction”? What the hell is that? Conservatives would never start out a pro-amnesty ad with, “Our immigration systems is broke and the WHOLE WORLD knows it.” Real conservatives don’t give a flying .... what the “whole world” knows. If the “whole world” is worried about immigration, I suggest that they take in this 33.1 million foreign nationals and feed them.

It might be more difficult without him to bring red state conservatives along on a bill.

Riiight.

Much more likely Labrador realized his *ss was hanging in the breeze because red state conservatives won't be led by ANYONE to accept this piece of shiite legislation.

Apparently his "tea party" counterpart in the Senate is not quite so astute.

Amnesty isn't popular here in Idaho, and I'm sure his 1st District constituents have been letting him know. For the most part, Labrador has has done a good job, especially going after Holder in the F and F hearings. But illegal immigration has always been his Achilles' heel. Fortunately, Lab listens to his constituents.

Whenever the headline says “Boehner Promises”, we know that the story is probably untrue.

I was informing the particular poster that Boehner had already deliberately weighed in on this.

It’s up to each individual’s brain to process that information.

I use other information to reason it through as best I can. The House “gang of eight” was working feverishly behind the scenes on its own product. That is public knowledge, so the only thing we didn’t know is, what kinds of things was that gang working on. Secrecy, you know, a government-wide problem.

Other information got into the media, but it wasn’t provable. It was, that the House was going to go at immigration reform bite by bite, over an extended period, starting with aspects involving the border and gradually moving on from there.

So what we have is, Boehner held a presser in which he made a special point that the
senate bill cannot and will not pass the House and the House will work on its own version of everything.

Other information, both proven true and leaked but not proven, seems to buttress that.

I would be surprised if, given all that, Boehner takes up a senate product as is, and let’s it come to a vote as is, in the House.

But strange things can happen in politics as we know.

So it could be that pigs can even fly, too.

That’s how I work it. I don’t go on a single piece of data/info but multiple pieces and try to reason how they fit into an unfinished puzzle.

Hey but that’s just me.
