Re blaming it on divorce - it’s ridiculous. The other brother didn’t become a mass murderer. My godson didn’t become a mass muderer. Hundreds and thousands of men raised in single parent homes did not become mass muderers.

So, the problem is with my choice of “sometime after birth”?? OK. then, let’s change it to “sometime in his childhood, his parents selfishly got divorced”. Does that work? Can I be on “our side” again?

That rate of firing also struck me as surprising, since some significant time must have also been spent moving from the entrance to the sites of the shooting, and so far we haven't seen any evidence that Lanza had the kind of training that individuals who can shoot with accuracy at high rates, and swap magazines very quickly normally have.
