When this last scandal broke, where was Mr. Obama? On a two-day California fundraising trip. It’s business as usual for the Campaigner in Chief — he’s done 15 fundraisers already this year, as many as Mr. Bush did in all of 2005. As the media busies itself with scandals that ultimately will go nowhere, Mr. Obama is forging ahead with his effort to take over the House in 2014 and break the back of the Republican Party.
What’s more, the scandals have so far had almost no effect on the president’s popularity rating.
“How is it,” a news article said last week, “that President Obama, despite the recent scandals, has been able to maintain an approval rating in the mid- to high-40s, or about where it’s been for the better part of three years? A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll may provide some clues. For starters, the public doesn’t seem to be blaming the president for the Benghazi terrorist attack, the IRS targeting of conservative groups or the Justice Department snooping.”
I could be wrong — I was once in 1979. But watching these scandals come and just as quickly go makes me wonder. Maybe the once-tight-as-a-drum administration has suddenly sprung a leak — or five. Maybe their sheer incompetence has simply caught up with them. But something smells fishy, nothing adds up. And with each new emerging scandal, the most damning one — Benghazi — recedes a bit more into the past.
Come September, we’ll likely look back and say: “Huh. Lotta smoke, no fire.” But four Americans are dead: We still don’t know why. And that’s a real scandal.

Benghazi is the BIG ONE - Curl knows it, you know it, I know it; lots of people in D.C. knows it. For whatever reason whether it was weapons-running or a botch kidnapping - trade for the Sheik gone wrong or something else, the matter of fact is that these people in the White House basically said - ‘let them die’ which is murder or at least complicit murder

Obama and Hillary are on that commercial that was aired in the Middle East. They can’t wiggle out of that. They are in it, and they approved it. They used American taxpayer money to produce and air that commercial. They used American taxpayer money to foster a political coverup. That’s just the start. Why did Obama and Hillary use American personnel, equipment, facilities and money to overthrow the government of Libya? What was our pressing national interest there? Benghazi is scary to Obama and Hillary because it’s criminal.....they could do some jail time. Benghazi is scary to the Democrats because the professors and college students and soccer Moms will drop the Democrat party like a hot potato when they find out that the peace-loving Democrats have been killing people for money. That’s why they are taking this beating on the other issues. Benghazi puts an end to the criminal enterprise that is the leadership of the Democrat party.
I’m not the one who makes these racial rules and distinctions, so the best I can do is refer you to those who call you a racist for disagreeing with Obama. If not for his skin pigment, he is black because they say so, and because it is politically expedient in pop politics.
Your comments about Woods and Dogherty strike a nerve because I have thought about them often. I can't imagine what hell they suffered in the final ours of their lives as the odds against them turned and they realized they were being abandoned by their countrymen.
What sickens me the most is that Obama had the plane returning with their bodies diverted to Andrews AFB for a staged media event at which Hillary held the hand of Tyrone Woods' father Charles and promised they would not rest until they prosecuted the video maker. That was on September 14, three days after Obama claims he said the attack was and act of terror.
This administration has drawn together the lowest examples of American political culture ever assembled. They dishonor every part of our brave heritage and legacy of freedom.

The head of the CIA during Benghazi is gone. The head of the Defense Department during Benghazi is gone. The head of the State Department during Benghazi is gone. Does anyone think that these three players left these jobs because they wanted to? Does anybody think that Obama would sacrifice these three for no reason? Then why are they gone? Two of these three were known Democrat loyalists.

So very true. At every turn, before..during..and after the tragedy, Obama and his ilk chose to take the dishonorable road and I know Woods and Doherty deserve better.
I always look at Benghazi as though I am standing there with Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty in the dark on that roof at the CIA annex with everything on the line. What brave souls they were...what strength they must have possessed to endure as long as they did.
I pray for them, I pray for their families and I pray for the survivors. I pray for all those in the military especially the ones who were involved on that night.I pray justice will be served at some point. Americans...all americans deserve the truth.

Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA, the journalism scandal, the EPA, etc. It makes the Clinton Administration look clean.
Benghazi is not “fading in the rearview mirror.” You’re going to have more hearings on that. It will rear its ugly head again.
But the AP/Fox scandal, the IRS scandal(s), and the NSA spying scandal are more fundamental threats to our Constitution and our liberties.
