Speaking of "unclueful" people; http://www.dailynewscrunch.com/u.s./called-a-defector-nsa-leaker-defends-his-decision/

"His credit card is going to max out pretty quickly," he said.

Does AP, Reuters, or Gannett consider them reputable journalists?

What the hell difference does that make?

The big guys are lefty. Very.

So why did Snowden go to the WaPo?

Readership. It’s in the DC area.

I have no idea.

You seem to think that newspapers, these days, are interested in reporting the truth. You can’t be more wrong about that.

I have no idea what the Guardian is up to. No clue.

These can, and are, separate issues from the snowden affair.

Never think that journalism schools teach their grads to report the truth. They teach them how to manage a story to achieve their goal. No kidding.

You're wrong again. Newspapers are interested in making money just like all media outlets. You make money by selling advertising. Advertisers want viewers. Newspapers and media gain readers and viewers by breaking big stories and covering what people are most interested in.

I have no idea what the Guardian is up to. No clue.

You have no idea what Snowden is up to either.

Yea, it made no mention of it, but I heard previously that he washed out because he got 2 broken legs in training.

Most newspapers are monopolies in their metro areas. They report what THEY decide is breaking news. NYTimes has no competition in NYC. The are the paper in NYC.

Most newspapers are owned by consortiums or chains. Upper management decides what’s news.

The advertisers are stuck with one local choice for news. How many major metro areas have TWO newspapers anymore? Few.

The Newhouse chain doesn’t buy any newspapers in markets with competition. They own a lot of newspapers. That’s lots of papers with no competition.

So what? The WSJ, NYT, WaPo, etc., are read worldwide. The TV news channels are all nationwide.

Do you think the NYT fairly reports on conservative issues?

Yes or no.

Do you think the NYT fairly reports on conservative issues?

Hell no. Are they read worldwide? Hell yes? Are they in business to make money? Hell yes. How do media outlets make money? Advertising. Try to remain focused.

Advertising in newspapers is going the way of the dodo.

NYT is a monopoly in its distribution area. The $$ made from papers sold in Prague is dwarfed by those sold on the paper routes locally. And both are dwarfed by the advertisers. Mainly real estate, cars and classified ads.

And if you think they’re in the business to make money you haven’t seen their balance sheet lately.

The papers sold don't make money......IT"S THE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!

And if you think they’re in the business to make money you haven’t seen their balance sheet lately.

They are losing advertising revenue because they have lost readers. DUH!!!!!

It seems to me that the NSA were acting just like the TSA. Frisking everyone because they do not want to insult the Muslims.
The NSA and the entire Government of this Great country needs to wake up and define the enemy and prosecute it the fullest extent . That enemy is Muslim/Islamist/Mohammedans

As I have posted here before :

Islam is not a religion, It is a ideology based on world domination masquerading as a religion. No other religion requires total submission or death. Islam does.!

ISLAM IS TERRORISM BY IT'S VERY NATURE

I doubt she is interested in being “interviewed”. Now the next question, will the FBI be questioning her? I suspect they will.

Brainwashed indeed.

A fossil like me has a hard time relating to such. I have been married to the same woman for 42 years. My parents were married for 66 years (we lost my mother last year). This is a cultural degeneration thing.

I agree she would not want to be interviewed, but rest assurred the press is salivating to interview her like she was GA GA....shoving the mic into her face as she tries to make her way through a crowd. I expect she is already being detained by the feds under some aiding and abetting charge.

The ironic thing is that it is the males that use the term “partner” more than the females. Women LOVE to tell everyone they are married and get upset when their husbands call them a “partner” and not their wife.

The under 30 crowd simply does not understand this marriage thing. And it appears that the young women seem to think an open relationship is the only thing still available today.

The saddest part is that Government is the largest contributor to this debacle. Social engineering, women’s rights legislation (Orwellian Double Speak), welfare dependency, income redistribution and the assault on the male family providers have destroyed the institution of marriage. It has corrupted us financially, morally, ethically and culturally.

“Shopped”. A predicted/typical verb used by US MSM for this story.

Not directed to you knak, just the arbiters of truth (aka the media).
