Women in those days always kept their legs
together, even when wearing pants.

I was just about to say something similar. Except I would have said “ladies” rather than “women”. There were a small number of females who were not ladies, and Rotten Rodham was one of them.

I see that you are laboring under the delusion that our Republic still exists. Your description of Obama’s weakening power would have held when we still had our nation.

We are, now, living in a dictatorship. Our next president will be whichever commie Soros and Co. choose. By bet is on the Wookie.

They’ll steal the election again and hitlery will win.

America is toast.

If the markets then are still swallowing an unlimited number of Baraqqi/Bernanke/Lew minibucks to pay out entitlements, you're correct.

Rodham went for a few years without shaving or wearing deodorant.

And yet somehow Slick "fell in love."

I think BJ knew that he needed her Hildabeest’s raw lust for power to get him through whatever he needed to do to make it to the WH.

They were the perfect Democrat couple.
It’s worked great so far for them and 2016 could be the next chapter.

What a great cabinet she could have, ole BJ, Huma, Chelsea Clinton-Mezvinsky, etc.....

Hey, all you Hillary fans: Let’s talk more about Benghazi. Like, what was she doing while people were dying? And have you heard about the sex and drug scandals involving State Dept employees at foreign embassies?

Rodham and Slick made a pact with each other and she would remind him whenever he got caught fooling around on her.

I am sure that Mobama and Barry have also made a deal with each other.

I seem to remember after Obama lost an election (I can't remember what it was now), Mooch filed for divorce but was somehow talked out of it.

I'm laboring under no such delusion. For the time being, elections are still scheduled to be held next year and in 2016.

If zero, $oro$, et al, want to cancel them, I fully expect the revolt to begin shortly after.

I'm also not laboring under any illusion that the RNC will actually field a viable candidate in '16. Early indications make it appear that Jeb Bush is the candidate that Rinse Prebus has selected for us. If that's the case, we need to expect either a continuation of the Democrat thugocracy, or we will have to find a better candidate than the one the GOPe selects.

Oh, elections will still be held, but they are held, as well, in many other despotic regimes where the outcome is predetermined.

The appearance of legitimacy will be maintained, so there will be no call for revolt. But the fix is already in.

Having not been born this morning, I am well aware of how despotic countries have their "elections" with only 1 person running who, magically, receives 100% of the vote. While I am not as cynical as you, I am still warily watching the current situation. For now, the elections are still scheduled.

Will they be fair? Probably not - no more so than the past two presidential elections, both of which were stolen. Today, the voters are becoming more aware of the political manipulations and shenanigans taking place and more and more people are watching. As more scandals emerge and the threats to our rights (those that remain) increase, more people will become more vocal about the abuses of government.

However, for the most part, the leftists have only successfully stolen the presidential election and a few, isolated state or local races. Information is still being developed about those as well. The clues are in zero's sliding popularity numbers and Congress' increasing unease with America's financial position and the giant, $400 Bazillion elephant in the room called ObamaCare. When that fully kicks in next year, a lot of people are going to be extremely unhappy and a lot of Congresscritters are going to be looking for hiding places.

So, for the moment, zero may appear to have all the cards, but his house of cards is collapsing around him. The growing list of scandals is increasing the presure on him and, eventually, even the most stalwart leftist has to take notice. Smoke does, eventually, meet fire!

And, that's what we have to watch for.

My fear is that there are really not enough people paying attention. Most people do not follow the news the way we FReepers do.

Yes, I have become quite a cynic. I have not always been so, and I generally have a very sunny disposition, but the 2012 presidential “election” really turned me around.

Like most people, I like to be right, but I pray to God that I am so wrong about all of this and that you are correct.
