Think anyone will admit this is what their ‘lesser evil’ BS gets them?

Nah. Too much to hope for.

I'm really glad that Romney didn't win — lesser of two evils my ass, he'd be doing his damnedest to soften the tyranny and make us comfortable with it, Obama at least is doing it quickly [and gracelessly] enough to make it both obvious and painful to people... just what was needed to wake them up.

Poppycock! He went to Hong Kong and is being offered asylum by Russia! Why didn't he go to Congress?

Because that would be like wrapping your head in raw meat before sticking it in the lion's mouth?
Seriously, this is something that was passed/authorized by Congress, and the new NDAA, which authorizes [domestic] drone-assassinations and suspends Habeus Corpus, only confirms that the spirit is alive and well in this Congress.

Don’t buy into the false dichotomy of “surrender all rights or risk a terrorist attack”... There are far easier, less invasive, and more effective ways of gaining security from jihidis.

Outlined in the Constitution even; Amendment 2:
A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.

See, the job of internal security is not primarily the government's, but the Citizen's.

Why the hell is Boehner still our Speaker? I mean, really ... what would it take to get a different one?

It's not only the masks, what they don't want revealed is how deep this goes and how far and wide this really is.
There are more scandals, corruption, and nefarious deeds that are going to be exposed down the road and all of them have their finger prints all over it.
We have not even see the tip of this nefarious ice burg folks.... it's going to get very interesting soon... get your pop corn.

Is it time?

How long before it is illegal to purchase guns and ammo unless you are registered on the national database and have government approval to make the purchase?

There's no need for registration in this sense; the NSA PRISM counterpart dealing w/ transactions would flag all firearm or ammunition purchases by non-governmental agents for "disappearance scheduling".

Boehner: Stupid or Evil?

Both: because Evil is stupid.

Spot on. And I will live as a free man until that happens.

My death certificate won’t indicate that I died hiding from the big bad terrorists behind Obamas skirt.

I don’t suppose I’ll be seceding, thanks. I like it here.

The point, Henry, is that sound files are data and are not that complicated to save. The pic is a reminder of how simple a sound file is.

You're welcome; figured you could use a laugh, or distraction. (I could.)
A word of caution though: tvtropes can be kinda addicting.

we have to keep fighting, but we need to make perfectly crystal clear to the conservative side that there will be no compromise with evil. None of this pragmatic garbage.

I agree. I am just not sure propping up the GOP and House leadership is the way to do it. They are operating as if they assume we'll show up in 2014 no matter what. They need to know they can be yanked out of power with ease, and to champion conservative principles. If the House rolls over and passes anything resembling the Senate immigration bill, they'll lose me. Then, once the house of cards crumble, I'll be one of the first to help rebuild.

Those who subverted the Constitution by authorizing NSA’s warrantless spying on US citizens are the true traitors. That very much includes enablers in Congress such as Boehner.

you pledge an oath to the CONSTITUTION to protect IT from all enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC.

Yep, appears that our domestic enemy is executive, and legisilative branches of our government. These bastards have run amok, and threaten every single freedom we have.

We condoned this under Bush but not Obummer? See any hypocrisy there?

I call bullshit there buddy. We were led to beleive that the Patriot Act was a process to watch potential and specific sources of terror. Not a cart blanch over reaching blanket over the populus.

Don't forget.... Same guy is at the top of the org chart at the IRS as the NSA. So who is to say if the scope and direction of this process didn't change. It sure didn't work on the Boston Bomber, because Obama's NSA was probably watching Freepers and Tea Party Members instead.

>>from you and me swearing an oath to protect this country
>>against all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC.

Just to clarify. The oath doesn’t say it’s to ‘protect the country’ - it says this:

“defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”

Without the constitution, there is no freedom, no law and no country. The 4th amendment is one of the core parts of the constitution and trumps all other laws, regulations, etc.

Full oath below for reference.

I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.[1]

“...What I don’t understand is why are there no republicans in the house who will stand up and be counted?...”

They’re all scared spit-less because of the PRISM info on them. Odongo has the goods on all of em...they’re all dirty, except maybe for a few select handful that can’t do anything. Odongo PRISM power has them held spellbound and speechless indefinitely.
