PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' views of former president George W. Bush have improved, with 49% now viewing him favorably and 46% unfavorably. That is the first time since 2005 that opinions of him have been more positive than negative.
Bush has maintained a fairly low profile in the four years since he left office. However, he returned to the public eye this year with the April opening of his presidential library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

H/T to the Drudge Report.
With recent polls Bush’s image is improving and Obama banging the war on women drum again—it must mean Hillary and Jeb for 2016.
I can give you a hint why and I don’t have to be an expert or have a 4 year college degree.
The Czar likely was likely quite popular with those same Russians when they uttered those last words, but he wasn't around to ask.
In before the first “Miss me now?” photo.
His incompetence helpo put Obama in Power and his ignorance gave his successor Homeland Security and NSA and a whole host of othere ills to expand and employ against us.
The last four Presidents have been catastrophies, each one worse than the one before him.
No, I don’t miss him, nor any of these miserable four losers.
Americans have grown so stupid.
I don’t really miss another damned bog government bush... But I’ll tell you what I would take his sorry arse over Obama ANY DAY!!!!
The only one worse than Carter is ZERO. Remember 18% interest rates, 10% inflation, 10% unemployment? There's no comparison between these two and the other three.
Goes to show you why Obama got elected in the first place.
What is wrong with you? Lumping the 2 Bush’s with the Traitor in Chief, BHO, is an insult to not only GHWB and GWB, but to all Americans who love their country.
Did the two Bush’s make mistakes? Yes. Are they human? Yes. That is about all that they have in common with Barack Obama.
Obama is a liar; a faux Socialist (actually he is a Communist, IMHO); an anti-American; a divider in Chief; a compulsive spender; an envious jerk; an anti-Christian, pro-Islam POTUS; an idiot (or a genius) who is intent on destroying our country - either way he is getting very close to accomplishing his goal.
Do I miss GWB yet? You bet, I do. Would I love to see a new version of Ronald Reagan appear? Of course.
Freepers, we can sometimes be our worst enemies. We squabble about the differences between Christian denominations when we are facing an enemy which wants us all dead; we complain when one of our own has an opinion different than ours, and then we set out to destroy him/her - thus imitating our Democratic/socialist adversaries.
I been looking for it.
I did miss him. Until I tried to get gasoline out of my new approved gas can.
Now I don’t like any of them.
Probably just as well that I could not put the Clinton paid for ethanol in my lawnmower.
So do I. A president that made some mistakes but loves his country. Ask a Soldier or Marine if they miss him.
A friend of mine likes to point out that Hillary and Jeb Bush were “special guests” at the Bilderberg meeting this year.
Those conclaves are where the next President is chosen, so he says
While this sounds tinfoil-hattish
At the Bilderberg meeting before the last election
The guest stars were the Black Messiah and the Mormon Gordon Gecko
Obama and Romney
“...because I’m not reading your emails NOW!”
How about 20%?
“Obama is a liar; a faux Socialist (actually he is a Communist, IMHO); an anti-American; a divider in Chief; a compulsive spender; an envious jerk; an anti-Christian, pro-Islam POTUS; an idiot (or a genius) who is intent on destroying our country - either way he is getting very close to accomplishing his goal.”
No argument there.
Do you REALLY want me to list the litany of Bush errors which helped put us where we are now?? Do you REALLY?
Sorry. I forgot about that a-hole Carter.
But I strongly disagree with you about the Bushes.
I really don;t want to go into an anti-Bush rant here. On a personal level, they are far nicer than the other bunch, but from an operative perspective, they helped set the groundwork for the damage Obama is wrecking.
Regan was probably the best president of the 20th Century. Its unforutnate his predecessor and successors were not up to carry on his political heritage.
