Threat against Newtown school mentioned Sandy Hook tragedy

Raw emotions resurfaced in Newtown after police said someone called in a threat Monday afternoon to one of the elementary schools forcing officials to put schools in lockdown.

The threat mentioned the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, 2012 where 20 first graders and six educators were shot and killed. It came just days before the six-month anniversary.

Newtown officials said the threat phoned into Hawley Elementary School, which was immediately locked down.

After learning of the threat, police rushed to the school in the wake of the threat. For many parents, the fears of what took place at Sandy Hook came rushing back.

"It sets us back, and remember, there are many children that are going to school every day that are aware of what happened," said Claire Savarese of Newtown

David Stowe's daughter is a third-grade student at Hawley. He said her teacher turned off the lights and hid the students inside a closet for about an hour.

"I felt like I was going to throw up," he said. "My wife felt the same way. Now I'm just very happy that my daughter is fine, and I'm just really angry that someone would do this."

In addition to Hawley, Channel 3 Eyewitness News was told Newtown's other schools went into a soft lockdown while the district sent out emails and used a reverse 911 system to alert parents of what was taking place.

"It's really evil when something like that happens after what we've been through," Savarese said.

Because hiding defenseless in a dark closet worked so well at Sandy Hook.

I'm not entirely sure which is worse: the monsters who execute children in their classrooms

or the WORTHLESS parents who care more about the liberal metaphysical agenda than taking common sense actions to protect their children from the monsters.

I give up on this world!

Shane upon all schools that do not arm their teachers after Sandy Hook!

Gun Free Zone = Shooting Duck Zone.

The blood of any children that die in a Gun Free Zone in the future is upon the heads of those that advocate a no guns policy.

Let me make it simple for the Leftists:

Arm.The.Teachers.

Why didn’t the NSA use their laser targeting to get this person. They know damn well who called that school because they have the records of who called and where it came from.

Look for many false flag ops to try and convince people that their 24/7 spy tactics are keeping us safe.

One town in CT even had parents and some students protesting hiring armed guards in the schools. Something about protecting the children from being scared of an armed guard.

Arm.The.Teachers.

C’mon. There can’t be even five or six responsible and mentally stable individuals on any entire school staff...isn’t that what the ant-gunners are arguing?

My belief on the matter is that if you can’t trust them with firearms, why on earth would you trust them with children?

Sounds like a threat some gun control nut would make.

Every last one of them is to blame for the deaths of those 20 children.

This is why I say that leftists should be treated as worthless subhumans. They have no rights. Every last one of them is a filthy murderer.

Every leftist in Newtown is directly guilty of manslaughter!

In terms of expendable property, children are near the bottom of the list.

The left is pure evil.

I have made that exact point in dealing with libtards...regarding the issue of gun control...and abortion...

Talk about hitting a hot button... most cannot deal with the obvious hypocrisy...

The left has no issue at all with killing a viable human baby...in the womb...but cannot make the connection that these children are just as precious as the Newtown Children...

I normally pose this question they cannot or will not answer

"I will trade my 2nd amendment rights for making all abortions illegal"

Never had an affirmative..
