(VIDEO AT LINK)

During an interview with FOX Business, former Rep. Ron Paul explained that he was concerned about the well-being of National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.

“I’m worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile,” Paul explained. “I mean we live in a bad time where American citizens don’t even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about what’s going on.”

Paul added that there were no signs of Snowden defecting to a foreign country, which meant that he was not really a threat.....

“Please explain how Snowden is “aiding and abetting” the enemy”

He was hired by the NSA and given access to information and national security secrets that folks far above his pay grade have deemed to be in our national security to be keep secret.

He violated that trust he is a traitor pure and simple.

I don’t agree with ANYONE all the time...so I certainly take issues with some of Dr. Paul’s stands...but on this I agree. I do NOT think Dr. Paul would make such a statement if he was not concerned for Snowden’s safety. We NEED more pols (current and former) to do the same heavy lifting that Ron Paul just did. It is REPREHENSIBLE that Boehner once again aligned himself with the very Administration BREAKING the boundaries of the Fourth Amendment, and JUST THE MILLIONS WHOSE DATA WAS CAPTURED, NOT GRANTING SNOWDEN DUE PROCESS!!!

G-d help us all!!!

Sorry. Snowden is a traitor just like Manning, though perhaps not as bad as Manning... Inasmuch as he seems to have exaggerated both his own résumé and the capabilities the government was supposed to have.

I’m saying tuned a bit more before I flip the switch. This Snowden guy gives me the creeps. Heroes don’t run to China to do their thing. There’s still nothing-— nothing-— in his allegations that even appears to be illegal.

I’m still waiting on this... I’m not sold.

LOL you are beyond naive. The evil left has turned the NSA towards domestic spying. I am sure it's the tip of the ice berg on just what evils humans in our government are undertaking at the direction of the Obama and his Marxist cohorts.

If you have a chance, please listen to Levin's opening of his show tonight. Levin clearly explains how unconstitutional it is for the NSA to be turned towards domestic spying.

Snowden has done Liberty a valuable service by bringing to light the evils of this regime.

P.S. The simple fact that most in D.C. are calling him a traitor convinces me that Snowden the the proper and honorable thing.

Gee, ya think? I'm saying a prayer every night for Edward Snowden. John Bolton may disagree, but this man is a hero.

methinks we might have dueling traitors..who lied and betrayed US first? Is it traitorous to unmask a traitor by the only means possible? If we had a fair and just government I might agree with you, but in the course of human events....which I think we are nearing at breakneck speed from an out of control government sometimes options are limited. What happened to fast and furious? Benghazi? IRS? Reporters records being taken under false pretenses? who has gone to jail or even been reprimanded and not promoted?

Hard to believe so many so called conservatives have already forgotten what another agency (IRS) can do in this administration.

Naive doesn't even tell half the story.

I see.

Exactly who do you define as “the enemy” in this case, and more to the point, do you define the obama government as on your side, and if so, why?

Is it because of their loyalty to the Constitution and personal liberty and freedom or what?

The folks that are naive are the liberaltarians supporting Snowden. We are at war and unfortunately all to many have forgotten the simple fact that our enemies want to kill us all and they applaud all you useful idiots who are aiding in that goal

James Clapper told congress (March) that no-one in the NSA was “collecting” information on U.S. Citizen’s communication. Mr.Snowden revealed that James Clapper was a liar, a perjurer. Who really violated the public trust? Who is the REAL enemy of the Constitution?

His tin foil cap is getting so tight that it is cutting of all oxygen from getting to the little brain he has left.

You trust Obama more than I do.

Totally. Just like all those tinfoil hatters who said the government is reading all your emails and text messages and using the IRS to punish political dissent. Nutters.

Look in the mirror when you use the word idiot.

The only serious "WAR" is our government against Liberty loving Conservatives.

You must be some inside the beltway,Statist loving fool.

Again the greatest current threat to our way of life is our own government. Just look at the immigration bill being pushed.

You are truly clueless about our government (Is that you Karl Rove??)

You mean 'current ruling clique', right?

The state of Virginia, still a part of the US government, isn't trying to do anything with, to or about Snowden (just or example).

I do wish you anglophiles would give up on the Brit speak that equates specific politicians with the word 'government'. This is America. We don't do it that way.
