How banning 3 useful words undermines immigration reform
Stillwater Gazette ^ | June 12, 2013 | by Jan Ting

On April 2, 2013, the Associated Press announced amendments to its style book, effectively banning the use of the word “illegal” to describe a person as in “an illegal immigrant.”

Why should a useful and descriptive word be banished? My Webster’s dictionary defines “illegal” as “not according to or authorized by law” and also “not sanctioned by official rules”. Black’s Law Dictionary, which is commonly used by lawyers and law students, actually defines an “illegal alien” as “An alien who enters a country at the wrong time or place, eludes an examination by officials, obtains entry by fraud, or enters into a sham marriage to evade immigration laws.”

I regard these actions to banish “illegal” as a concerted effort to blur the distinction between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants, as if their immigration status and U.S. immigration law shouldn’t matter at all. I see these actions as in direct support of the on-going effort to enact an amnesty for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, and to prevent the application of current U.S immigration law to them.

Since AP insists on using Newspeak rather than English, how about we rename illegal aliens to doubleplusungood doubleplusuncitizens?

They are not illegal immigrants.

They are illegal aliens.

Actually, my friend, they are invaders. They may cross the border in small gaggles, not armed, but soon after they set up life in the US they acquire weapons and establish fraudulent IDs. These are steps that invaders take in order to disappear in a populace until ordered to act. The displays they exhibit around Cinco de Mayo reveal what their intentions are, they are here to overthrow the sovereignty of the American people. Interestingly, they are too ignorant to realize we the people are no longer the sovereigns they need to focus upon.

They are not 'undocumented workers' either ~ in fact the greater part of them are Mexican citizens ~ fully documented ~ a modern country which is currently the world's 8th wealthiest!

Too many Democrats imagine they are dealing with pitiful helpless stateless refugees who will gratefully vote Democrat forever. Actually, they think highly of themselves and will probably carve out their own political future, and if that's with the Democrat party, they will quickly move to exclude Jews and blacks from the leadership positions.

There goes the neighborhood eh!

Sec. 101. [8 U.S.C. 1101] (a) As used in this Act-

(3) The term “alien” means any person not a citizen or national of the United States.

*******************************************

“Illegal alien” is a government term. It means a foreign national in the U.S. illegally.

There are tens of millions roaming the United States as I write this.

President Eisenhower deported millions of Mexicans during the 1950s. So can we today.

See: Wikipedia “Operation Wetback”.

Sort of like Naturalized Citizen, Citizen by Birth, and Natural Born Citizen, all the same thing don'tch know.

Soon anyone who is on the continent will be a citizen, vote is set for the 16th of July, unless they stealth it through sooner, in any case it will become law.

If Texas is going to rise again, it better hurry before they have to fight on two or even four fronts. :)
