This might get me in trouble but I think with all the interracial dating and sex that goes on today, any children that come from it are classified as minorities. Black + White = Black. Asian + White = Asian. Hispanic + White = Hispanic (except George Zimmerman).
With that type of formula, now wonder whites are becoming the minority. I think all the multicultural rot forcefed in the schools is part of the liberal objective to outlaw racism by slowly breeding out the white race.
I have no problem with other races as individuals but since government gives overwhelming preference in society to non-whites in hiring, education, housing, etc. why would any child of mixed races NOT proclaim themselves a minority instead of white?
White people have NEVER been a majority in this world and NEVER will be.
Previous generations of immigrants changed the ethnic make up of America. Previous generations were concerned about the large numbers of Catholic immigrants, and immigrants from southern and eastern Europe.
But, those groups assimilated.
Today, we don’t see the same assimilation as occured in previous generations.
Indeed, talk of mixed race relationships and babies being born leads one to believe that those of mixed backgrounds could well be the plurality of Americans a generation or two in the future.
A multi-ethnic America can survive and prosper. A multi-cultural America will fundamentally change this country. There is a difference. A multi-ethnic society of people living by traditional values would be beneficial. A multi-cultural society, of various competing unassimilated ethnic groups, overlayed with such lifestyles as the baby mama culture, will fundamentally transform America for the worse. It remains to be seen what will happen.
