Rumors Swirl Around Holdup in Supreme Court Affirmative Action Decision
Yahoo News ^ | June 13, 2013 | Liz Goodwin

Eight months after attorneys for Abigail Fisher argued in front of the Supreme Court that the University of Texas' affirmative action admissions policy discriminates against white students, the justices still have not handed down their decision in the potentially paradigm-shifting case.

The unusual delay has many court-watchers stumped, though as with everything Supreme Court-related, all explanations for the wait are, at best, educated guesswork.

The Supreme Court will rule in such a way as to allow Affirmative Action to continue. Without Affirmative Action, which gives advantages to certain groups while placing obstacles in front of other groups, the federal government goal of trying to create near equal outcomes for America’s diverse groups will become an impossibility. Granted, equal outcomes for America’s diverse groups is an impossibility anyway because different people have different skills, but the prevailing federal government view of the past half century is that people are equal so outcomes will be equal once discrimination is countered via legislation. If Affirmative Action is eradicated the divide between group outcomes will become greater because the government will no longer be tipping the scales in one direction. The growing outcome disparity will be blamed on racism rather than acknowledging group differences and social unrest will result. The federal government fears this perhaps more than anything, and they know that white, Jewish, and Asian Americans who are most impeded by Affirmative Action will not riot or make that much of a stink if Affirmative Action remains.

“Calling all cowards. Calling all cowards. Proceed immediately to the Supreme Court. That is all.”

The bizarre reason the court of appeals overturned the will of the people in Michigan (We banned AA by referendum back in 06)

The court says the ban puts an extraordinary burden on those who have to mount a long expensive campaign if they want to protect it.

The po liberal folks can't afford to fight to keep their racist policies in place so its unfair.

I know this isn't right, but I tried...

my "Gaydar" just went off like the warning of an incoming missile (no pun intended), when I saw that picture.

That little bastard had better cowboy up and fast. This country’s future is far more important than any personal crisis he may be risking.

In the UK, instead of "Affirmative Action," they use the terminology,
"Positive Discrimination"

Equally obnoxious, it at least has the virtue of calling discrimination "discrimination."

You could be correct, but I think it's his children (i.e. where they were adopted, etc.).

Hey Roberts what you say?

I think he'll say he loves his adopted kids and doesn't want them taken away...

...at gunpoint.

That picture is from the Gaydar Operator’s Manual. It is used for calibration of the visual alert camera.

“affirmative action” will stay. The statists need it to create a permanent underclass that thinks it is downtrodden and that hates the “oppressors” and blames them for its self-inflicted failures.

Also roberts has no concept of law, and votes for whoever yells at him the loudest.

As soon as white kids become less than 50% of their age group’s population, they officially become a “minority”.
