The countrys top investigator seemed to be in the dark Thursday when pressed to provide details of the IRS investigation into the tax agencys targeting of Tea Party and conservative groups. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, seemed to rattle FBI Director Robert Mueller for not knowing the specifics surrounding the IRS probe. Youve had a month now to investigate, Jordan said. This has been the biggest story in the country and you cant even tell me who the lead investigator is. You cant tell me the actions the inspector general took which are not typically how investigations are done. You cant tell me if thats appropriate or not. This is not speculation. This is what happened. Mueller repeatedly declined to answer Jordans questions, saying he couldnt because the investigation was ongoing or that hed have to get back to the lawmakers with answers. When Jordan asked again, Can you tell me who the lead investigator is? Mueller responded, Off the top of my head, no. The day didnt go much better for the outgoing FBI chief. He was grilled for hours by lawmakers on a number of different topics, including the federal governments surveillance programs, the Benghazi scandal and the Boston Marathon bombings.

What’s new? All of our government is in the dark and didn’t know a thing but whatever that thing is, it’s the right thing for government to do.
Nobody knows whats going on in Washington DC. Is this the most unorganized administration ever?
Makes one wonder if Obama’s shadow government can cut the agency heads out of the loop.
Jokes on you if you believed there was an investigation,,LOL Fooled again
Holder’s job has been to keep federal law enforcement agencies from investigating the Democrats.
None of the FIGURE HEADS know anything because a shadow government is in control. Where are the Czars? Where is Valerie Jarrett and why doesn’t her name EVER come up in hearings?
It looks to me like everyone in DC is being blackmailed.
One after another they come to the hearings to be grilled and their stock answer is “I don’t know.”
“I don’t know what is going on in my department.”
“I don’t know who gave my subordinates orders.”
“I don’t know who broke the law.”
If they don’t, who does?
We know Obama doesn’t have any idea what is going on.
Is Valerie Jarrett the only person in the administration who has any idea about what is taking place?
Obama ordered his IRS to rig the election of 2012 for Obama and democrats/socialists in the Senate. Obama also used other gov agencies to rig the election. Why isnt anyone shouting this form the rooftops? Come on Levin, coulter , Sarah Palin, Rush, DRudge etc. call Obama out on this and call for Obamas resignation.
Obamas IRS prevented many tea party groups from getting started The IRS stole the election. We no longer live in a free country
IRS Employee: D.C. Told Us To Target Tea Party
government cant be trusted
liberals/democrats trust government and love gov
I hope the Republicans in Congress are gathering video snippets of all these “I don’t knows” for campaign commercials at election time.
They dare not use it now as it might be used to compare their selected boy-king wannabe to Nixon and Watergate.
You and I would do it, but who knows with the Folding Lawn Chair Party.......
Sgt. Schultz returns...
Obama’s transparency is the most secretive US government ever
“Obama ordered his IRS to rig the election of 2012 for Obama and democrats/socialists in the Senate.”
They got all their biggest turds like Harry Reid re-elected in 2010 also. The only big shot to lose was Feingold. They just didn’t save their guppies in order to set up the big steal in 2012.
yes true.I’ll continue my reply later
“I never even heard of surveillance. What’s that?”
Drucy on Fox and Friends made this point: Because Mueller was under oath, he could not lie so answered “I don’t know.
His absurd answer makes sense if there is NO investigation underway.
