This may be an older video (or may not) showing an IED explosion in the Middle East...While there is no 'blood and guts' per se, it pretty apparent what's happening...
How this explosion comes about is what is shocking...
Hmm....so you're upset. I get that. I don't completely disagree with you, and I'm not going to get on some high horse about anything I said. I think I was just stating an observation. It wasn't an editorial.
As bad as the regime is treating the citizens, they're treating those who protect and defend us even worse. Democrats always do. That's newsworthy, and makes me sick to my stomach. Members of my family have honorably served this country right back to the founding, so I'm not insensitive to this.

My family has also fought for this nation since its founding, and before. And those sacrifices are being squandered. Hard won freedoms are being thrown away at exponential speed, by an uncaring, oblivious public. Scandal after scandal is coming to light with such regularity that events which would have brought down any other administration are now met with indifference.
I realize we have much bigger events the media should be highlighting, but the lives, safety and support of our military are still newsworthy. This is an important piece of the much bigger picture, but also important in its own right.

The video was obviously made by the bad guys. Also, the explosion takes place on the far side of the road, opposite of where the dude was pitching dirt.
It’s obvious to me that the guy narrating it is the enemy, but it’s not obvious that the enemy created the video. Everything I’ve read or heard about it indicates it was recorded by one of our own drones. What do you know that indicates otherwise?
I can’t make out the specific location of the explosion. Are you suggesting the one we saw being planted was removed, and another one planted in nearly the same location, on the opposite side of the road?
I’ve read accounts that say there were no deaths or serious injuries. I hope that’s true.
Drones fly at 20-30 thousand feet. That shot was from roof top at low angle. The reticle was added later.

Moreover the one on the opposite side may have been planted months ago. Then the bad guys planted a new one opposite the old one to get “caught” on purpose. That new IED is removed and now the road in that area is declared “safe”. Then the old one is detonated and there you have it.
You mean when they find an IED and remove it, they don’t check the immediate area for more of them? I don’t believe that.

My guess is that that surveillance camera (mounted to whatever it was mounted to) is not monitored in real time. They got the video out of it after the fact.
We do have drones that are operated by personnel who see what they see as it happens, like in Benghazi. We have others mounted on vehicles or aircraft. But we also have those that are fixe and not monitored continuously. I suspect that that is what we have here.
It may have been transmitting to a remote site (and stored on a server), or it may have had local storage. but I believe this is one that the videop of the event was discovered after the fact.
My guess is, after it occurred and was reported that someone said, "We have a camera monitoring that areas," and they wnet to the server, got the video for that date, and then watched it, and then went back in time on that video until they found the tangos planting the bomb.
In this case, no need for a conspiracy, or a callous act by someone like Benghazi certainly was.
No, I wasn't suggesting that...All I am saying is that sitting here in front of the screen, it only seems that someone, somewhere could have prevented this action...But your assessment could very well be right on the money...
