Consider the cover of the passport of the Russian Federation. It is the Imperial Crest of the Tsar, which also appears as a water mark on every page of the passport. It is also the logo on every official Russian document.

Correct, he wants what every Russian has wanted since 1453 -- to reconquer Constantinople and renew the Orthodox Empire

As a Catholic, I support him. As any type of Christian who is not Orthodox, we should support him on this -- whatever differences we have with the Orthodox, a CHRISTIAN constantinople is something we should hope, pray and FIGHT for...
