SANFORD, Fla. - A previously dismissed potential juror in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder trial was escorted off courthouse property by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office on Friday and warned he could be arrested for trespassing if he returns.
SCSO tells Local 6 they "trespassed one of the dismissed jurors" from courthouse property.
The potential juror, 55-year-old unemployed painter and guitar player Jerry Counelis, was eliminated from the jury pool on Wednesday after defense attorneys found a posting from him on a Facebook page from 2012.
Counelis was at the courthouse on Friday during the lunch hour complaining about his anonymity and saying he is hiring an attorney. According to the trespassing report, Counelis walked into the foyer of the jury assembly and expressed his privacy concerns and animosity toward the jury process to the clerk.
Authorities approached him and said that as a dismissed juror he could not be in the jury assembly area or have any contact with potential jurors until after the trial.
Counelis then said, "do they know what they are in for!" pointing to the jury assembly room....

Let’s be clear here:
Finding this guy’s prejudicial leanings did not require an NSA clearance. It was under the name on his drivers license that the courthouse is using to call prospective jurors.
The state knew who this guy was before they sent out jury notices. This was no accident.
He was sent up to be a representative of the males on the panel and to force the defense to use one of its strikes.
Same with juror E75 — the OBEY one here. His tank top should have excluded him outright even without what was on it:

These jury notices are taken from drivers licenses — so they know before they are sent out the race and gender and age and picture of the potential juror.
Somebody culled through these before they sent these notices out and again when they showed up to assure that blacks and women and youth are over represented while the elderly where wisdom resides are nowhere to be found. Don’t the 65, 70, 75 year old people live in Floriduh and have drivers licenses??
If I’m GZ on Monday morning when JN calls me to the bench to ask if I’m pleased with jury selection thus far, I would ask her that question.
Why are there so many blacks on the panel from Sanford who claim to know and feel nothing about this???
Where are the white Hispanics — not the Telemundo watchers who could barely understand English — but 2nd generation Hispanics.
Only the two on the right made it onto the jury. The one on the left was too young.
If I were O’Mara I would file one of these daily next week with the court.
