Lolla? Whatever do you mean, sir?
Seems quite apparent that when you see a conflict in which both sides are sworn enemies of the US (and Israel and western civilization), you have no sound reason to intervene. So Palin is right on target.
If I heard correctly, however, Obama announced today that the US will be directing weapons to the Syrian rebels through Turkey. Another of many bad foreign policy initiatives from the current White House.
Sarah, you’re the best. I can see the liberals’ heads exploding.
And, would the OBayMe weapons being given to Al Qaeda rebels in Syria be used against our troops in Iraq and Afganistan? If there is that possibility, then one would think the Joint Chiefs would be raising hell as well as the gonadless members of Congress. Meanwhile, Boner is still out looking for his nads with McConnell.
This Syrian civil war, Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan are 100% intentional by 0muslim, in furthering the murderous islamic caliphate in the region and ultimately, around the world, involving and killing/wounding US Troops, gutting and hollowing-out the US Military, bankrupting the US economy, upsetting the world’s current balance, alienating and fracturing long-time US allies/alliances, importing tens-of-millions of islamists/muslims into the US to destroy it, and ultimately destroying Israel.
What’s to worry about, Sarah?
< /sarcasm>
Ha! This leftist web site must think that the fact that Palin spent two months on the same unsuccessful presidential ticket with McCain means that the two of them have to be political Siamese twins forever. How absurd! This is far from the the only issue on which Palin and McCain differ.
Even elected VPs have frequently differed from their presidents down through American history.
Palin is right, and has the courage to say what she thinks.
Seems like most of the rest of the GOP are hiding under their desks, unwilling to take firm position.
Great quote!!!
Allahu fubar!
“Dont overlook the fact that strategically he and his administration have usually been several steps ahead of the republicans on just about every issue since he first started running for office.”
Your statement gives Obama too much credit. I think that when it appears as though he has been ahead of the republicans, it has been because of their own ineptitude. Obama is about as smart as a wet dishrag.
If a horse wins a race because it is fast or because the other horses are slower or more clumsy, it is still a win.
I agree - Obama is a doofus.
But the people who control Obama's puppet strings, who planned, engineered and controlled his campaigns and election wins in 2008 and 2012 are plenty sly and smart.
They are probably as dirty and underhanded as anyone who has ever been involved in politics.
But they were smart enough to figure out how to manipulate the election system, the press, and over half the voters.
They were smart enough to find and groom a black doofus as their front man, and get him into the White House twice. And they are smart enough to formulate and implement tactics that keep him almost untouchable issue after issue, scandal after scandal.
Palin right. Obama wrong. No doubt about it...
Concur.
I do not mind a stablizing force to keep the chaos contained; indeed, I think that is a good thing. Maybe help those who need out to get out.
But the only way to win the Syrian conflict is to not play.
...not to play. Exactly.
