14 Year-Old Boy May Face Year in Jail for Wearing NRA T-Shirt to School (Video)

In April 8th grade student Jared Marcum was SUSPENDED and ARRESTED for wearing a NRA T-shirt to school.

Local law enforcement officials confirmed Jared Marcum was arrested over the T-shirt. It was offensive. WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

Now it looks like Jared could face up to a year in jail. Guns Save Lives reported:

According to a report by WTRF the prosecuting attorney is moving forward with that charge and a judge is allowing the case to move forward. Fourteen year old Jared Marcum could face up to a $500 fine and up to a year in jail (we’ll seriously hope that isn’t a real possibility) if found guilty.

According to the report, the arresting officer alleges that when Jared refused to stop talking he hindered the officers ability to do his job and that is where the obstruction arrest came from. I’m guessing a 14 year old kid who felt intimidated was trying to explain himself, but let’s throw him in jail for good measure.

I am not young, but I AM leaving. Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. It IS over.

15 years ago, I had dual citizenship in Chile. I'm sorry I gave it up. Even though the government may be socialists, they leave you alone. In "free" nations like the Brits and US, we're being hassled by multiple levels of government 24/7.

When did we allow this to happen?

The school will fight (and lose) and taxpayers will foot their legal bills.

it’s a win/win for them. they have no skin in the game.

I do not know. I am moving to the Philippines later this year. I am going to Davao City. I was there a few months ago. I have been all over the Philippines, and I never saw as many ex pats (Brits, German, Dutch, Americans, Canadians, Australians, Japanese, Chinese,Koreans) anywhere else, as I saw in Davao City. I felt much more freedom. They do not give you a big hassle like they do here. Color me gone.

When did we allow this to happen?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We allowed it to happen when we allowed the establishment of compulsory government schools in the mid-1800s to early 1900s.

By **definition** government schools are a single-payer, compulsory-use, compulsory-funded socialist entitlement. Children who attend risk learning to be comfortable with socialist government compulsion. In a mere one to three generations of this indoctrination our nation's voters gave us Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt!

Progressives have **always** controlled teacher training and curriculum development. And...The Progs have always pushed at the edges of social mores and ethical values.

Government schools at its best was merely lukewarm and generic Protestantism and today is utterly GODLESS! Children who attend **will** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the classroom. How could it be otherwise?

THAT IS HOW IT HAPPENED!!!! AND CONSERVATIVES ALLOW THESE SCHOOLS TO REMAIN OPEN!!!

Axiom: It is impossible to have religiously, culturally, and politically neutral education.

Axiom: The most powerful political groups **will** get to control the government indoctrination centers and have ENORMOUS influence on the voting habits of the next generation of voters.

( Yes, I am shouting. I am exasperated that conservatives can be soooooo dense and continue to send their children into these EVIL indoctrination centers.)

So, basically they're charging him with obstruction because he wouldn't shut up when the police told him and the prosecuting attorney has decided to push it. Sounds like somebody wants to teach him a lesson. A lesson called tyranny.

He will be much better behaved after the state psychiatrists get through treating his mental illness, comrade.

Their going to teach this kid a lesson about standing up
for his rights buy ruining the rest of his life. These aren’t

Anybody still under the illusion that LEOs are “the good guys”?

If they were any sort of real MEN, they’d have gone to the school, told the teacher or principle or Lead Indoctrinator to blow it out their ass, and that would have been the end of it.

Still think we can take it back via the ballot box? I don't, and I say that in the most sober and somber of ways.

Sober and somber bump.

The local people of Charleston, Huntington WV should teach the law and the Judge a lesson they'll never forget.
