Couple things about Cheney’s interview....

....first, a personal bombshell. Cheney said he was in charge of wage and price freezes under Nixon.

What a damn dumbbell idea THAT was, take it from someone who suffered greatly because of this thing.

Yeah....I was 19 years old. I was hired as a keypunch operator. I got a promotion to payroll.

Because of the wage freeze, I was able to get a raise for my promotion but was unable to get my “step” increases as is normal when experience is gained.

Yeah it only lasted six months or so but it was dumb as can be, yeah, way back in the 60’s the Repubs were getting fooled and looked stupid by the Democrats. I was new to the political scene at the time and for almost ten years I was vehemently anti-Republican because hey, THE REPUBLICANS FROZE MY WAGES!!!

Just so y’all know being Republican dumb has been going on for a long time.

Cheny also called the Snowden fellow a traitor.

I don’t know the full story of that young man but I am holding off until I hear it all. I found it offputting that first thing Cheney says sort of aligns him with the Obama crowd.

By me, Cheney came off old, stale, and boring.

We have no business in Syria. These hypocrites on Iraq and Trashcanistan now want us to be hawks in Syria for the Brotherhood?

Hold their robes and deal with the winner.

Jane Harmon, re: chemical weapons on the ground in Syria.

Yet no mention by the others of where the Hell they came from. Are they saving this fact for a big “gotcha” or what?

I don’t know what to make of Syria, Bray.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, shouldn’t we STOP dictators spraying chemical weapons on their own people? A well-placed bomb would put an end to that.

This administration has NO plan, no grand plan, for all these Middle East dictators.

I am heartened somewhat by the Turkey protests. THAT’S who we should be helping. Cause those protesting now are those who thought the new president would be a great guy except he’s just more of the same.

It’s the congress critters who should be holding Obama’s feet to the fire but McCain and Lindsay will always push for war anywhere for anything.

Same old, same old, no opposition party.

Cheney is not on my list of “conservatives” although the liberal media has dubbed him as one over the years.

He is known as an advocate of military action but lets be real the military action we saw in the W Bush era was actually limited military action in the Korea and Vietnam tradition. “Islam is religion of peace”-George W. Bush

The Left cannot tolerate any military action by a Republican so we get the “conservative” and “neocon” labels bandied about.

Neoconservative is just another way of saying Rockefeller-Kissinger Republican (Detente with the Soviets, Opening up Communist China). NEOCONSERVATIVE IS LIBERAL REPUBLICAN.

Looks like all the action will be on abc (anybody but Christians) this week. We need to let the rinos know that we will not settle for amnesty especially with a regime that has proven they have no interest in securing our borders. And, if Boehner trys to lead the house in that directions he will not like the blowback.

Should these commies stop every dictator who uses WMD on thier own people? They said no in Iraq but now they want to in Syria, why?

Syria was stable until Obama stirred the pot.

The only excitement with the Cheney interview happened when his cell phone went off. :o/

Well Kabar let us share a dance shall we?

Cause you are exactly right....Cheney came up with a lame, lame, lame....”trust us, we know what’s best” defense and dear Lord, in view of the Obama administration’s abuse of EVERYTHING, I am astonished he would even suggest such a thing.

Again, he did not invigorate me, Cheney came off sounding old and stale. A blue blood GOP elite, a proponent of big government.

Man.....thank you Maggie.

That was the dullest, dumbest, doltish interview I have ever seen.

Loved the cell phone ringing....showed how lame the mad was.

The guy gave it to Putin...then had second thoughts and asked for it back.

The owner said he gave the ring to Putin, but who knows? Rove is telling us how great it is to have our phones monitored. We have nothing to worry about, just like the IRS and every other agency.

That’s NOT the story I heard.

I heard he did show it to Putin but noticed after the meeting that it was missing.

The administration straightened out the mess as I understand.

Even good people can do bad things, if they convince themselves it is for a noble purpose.
