On Saturday, CBS News reported on the elections in Iran – by comparing the mullahs to the Tea Party. Reporter Elizabeth Palmer said, discussing the new president, Hassan Rahjani, “Well, he was seen as the most reform-minded of all the candidates who ran this time, that being said, they were all very conservative. In US terms it was as if all the candidates for the presidency came from the Tea Party.”

CBS is in desperation mode.

The surge in sales of 1984 must really be shaking their cage.

CBS has that Alinski thing down pretty good. Cheryl Atkinson should look for employment with a more reputable news outlet.

I wonder who in the Obama administration Elizabeth Palmer is related to. Or, who in the Obama administration she’s dating.

And all this time I thought Iranian mullahs were authoritarian thugs. Who knew they advocated fiscal restraint and limited government?

Always leaning something new from CBS.

Gee....speaking of “1984”, I wonder if the people in “1984” could have turned off the Big Brother monitor, would they?

What if before Big Brother took over, the people were actually paying for cable that pumped propaganda into their homes. At that point they had an option. Later, they did not.

Still paying for propaganda? Even if you do not watch the corrupt media formerly known as the mainstream media, they still get paid a subscriber fee.

We still have the option of turning off Big Brother. Will we do it?

Cable free since 2006

There are several boycott sites. The first thing you notice is they have little to no traffic and everyone is asking everyone else to put up the names of the advertisers.

Boycotting the companies who advertise on the corrupt media formerly known as mainstream would be a full time job.

Car manufacturers are the number one advertisers. Gotta buy a car and they all advertise nationally.

All national name brands advertise on television, it is the only way to reach a national audience. You know the names, you see them when you walk into any grocery store or big box store.

My personal preference is to shop local/generic. Why go to a restaurant chain on Saturday night? Why not go to a local restaurant?

Why not switch to the local/generic/store brand when shopping?

And in the same vein, cut the cable because they get a subscriber fee from every subscriber whether you watch or not. Tell your cable company you will be back when they go a la carte, only pay for the channels you want.

Hey, you are saving money. Money that can go toward conservative/new media websites, money that can go toward conservative organizations and candidates.

Think of the possibilities.

Cable free since 2006

Somehow the words ‘Tea Party’ just doesn’t fit their description of violence.
Especially since there has never been any true ‘party’ violence anywhere.

The only thing they can do is get some to join and then create violence.
I’m surprised other then that loner ‘march’ guy, that the left haven’t done this by now. They’re slipping.

We’ll be ready if they try it.

I haven’t watched CBS news in a long time because of things like this. Apparently they don’t learn from example.

Did you ever see the ‘original’ 1984? I don’t think it exists now. It’s been awhile since I saw it.
