With the revelation that the National Security Agency (NSA) is collecting the phone records of millions of Americans, MRCTV wanted to find out how people would feel if a complete stranger asked for specific details about their phone conversations.
We quickly discovered that most people are not all that comfortable with sharing even the most basic information about their personal calls.
Of course, the major difference is that the government is simply taking your data. We just asked politely.
kathleen sebelius...aren’t we all?
Sorry. On a real movie kick today :-)
I did something this past week I hadn’t done in a while. I mailed a letter rather than making a telephone call.
no problem at all ~ my phone at work was tapped by my employer for 2 solid years. even got to know the tapper. my friends thought it was a real hoot.
Great. Now they will have an xray scan of what you wrote. Physical evidence.
Hope you wrote in cursive. Not many can read it.
lol. I had a paranoid ass of a boss back in the early internet days when there was a lot of corporate positioning like the wild west. he wanted me to spy on people and the whole of another department I was heading up via technology etc. i just gave everyone the heads up. thus when he asked me if i had found out anything i could truthfully answer nothing worthy. that’s because everyone knew better. made all of our jobs easier except his of course. it wasn’t too long before the company got rid of him.
Family and friends. Work; business related.
I like to mail letters and cards. Still do.
I live a normal life on email/mail and phone. Work a lot w/job.
I don’t do Facebook, Twitter and the others. Now, I post mostly here. Sites like ABC, CBS etc., block you often when you say criticism of Obama or any democrats. That’s been going on for years. My spouse has been on FR for a long time. Where I am at now, he was in that place years ago of what was going on in the country.
