You know what might have stopped 9/11, paying attention to the Phoenix memo. Or maybe not letting any ragheads into our country, or wondering why ragheads bought one way tickets and had no luggage.

It just pi$$es me off to see Cheny flap his gums on this. I’m sorry, but I do not want my government spying on me. If that makes me a traitor too, then I guess I am one.

They can’t even do the job they’re supposed to do, and so they branch out to check up on me. I’ve a fairly decent record for a guy my age.

Now I’m treated like I’m a potential national threat.

Just what is the advantage of keeping your nose clean in this nation anyway?

Being a citizen sucks these days. Foreigners are all they rage and nobody gives a damn what they’re doing.

It just me this Tea Party sympathetic ‘terrorist’ that they’re worried about.

JHC!

I wish Wallace had asked Cheney how the IRS and Homeland targeting conservative Americans would make us less trusting of the NSA. If the NSA is run by the same types running the IRS and Homeland we have a right to be concerned.

The Fox News Channel has become the official channel of Big Brother.

It ain't fair and balanced when it comes to singing the praises of the surveillance state as this morning's Fox News Sunday is a case in point.

If Mr. Halliburton was bad enough, this morning's panel was absolutely putrid.

The panel was beyond belief. Karl Rove and Britt Hume were vying for who is the biggest elitist twit on planet earth.

Then they had Jane Margaret Lakes Harman who is vying with Feinstein as the most loyal Democratic defender of Big Brother.

Then they top that off with Juan Williams who may be the most liberal doofus in America, but defends Big Brother because he evidently has a man crush on Barry.

Dick Cheney is part of the ‘elite’ ruling class, for BIG Govt and he looks down on Sarah Palin and tea party efforts. He believes that the controlling tools for govt are primary to any concerns over individual freedoms. Wake up people !

I’m beginning to think that there isn’t a single politician, Pres. or anyone short of Jesus Christ Himself that will ever satisfy anyone on FR...and I’m certain were He in charge we’d still be reading all the negative remarks....anymore it’s endless on here.

What we want and what we get is never going to be remotely satisifying.....people still bad mouth Bush and Reagan for crying out loud!

Can hardly believe people are complaining about being spied on....my gosh it’s been going on for ever.....they’re just getting better at doing so...

It is clear we are beyond the Rubicon. Everything you write on this is being logged by the feds and will be used against us soon in a secret court. After a quick guilty verdict we will be led to a cattle car and taken to one of dickhead Cheney’s undisclosed locations. There we will be tortured, starved, some killed, rest enslaved. Our days are over we lost. This will be Nazi Germany times 100 but with so much control and manipulation by the gov controlled press that average citizens will never realize what is happening. Best thing s true constitutionalist can do is shut up, move to an island far away and enjoy their life as they see fit, free of any trackable devices such as phones or computers.

Dick Cheney is a neocon which is the new way of saying Rockefeller Republican as in liberal Republican.

The left leaning folks in the media consider any Republican to be a “conservative” so they gave Cheney the label even though I don’t think he deserves it.

One of the reasons we end up having to spy on all Americans to “stop terrorism” is because the authorities can’t target the obvious terror suspects because that would be “racial profiling.”

God forbid that we would target Muslims....”Islam is a religion of peace”-George W. Bush

It's becoming so bad here lately, the networks, even FOX come across as though they are covering for the government. Yea, for Big Brother, I mean. All of these people took a oath to uphold. The repubs criticize the libs for advocating their views into policies by using the constitution as a living document.

Now, we have Bush/Cheney defending Obama’s NSA for violating the constitution. I guess they feel like it's ok too to update the constitution to spy on everybody. Many on TV say they were spying on us after Bush set up the Patriot Act. Obama, only went further. I am angry at all of them for not being lawful. I recall they told us it was not to spy on all of us and we the people should not worry because they go through a court for each person targeted.

What would have stopped 911 was to not kiss the House of Saud’s rear end. But hey, we had to use that foreign oil. Bin laden attacked us because we were in bed with the House of Saud. He wanted the royalty removed from Saudi Arabia. Or so that is what we are led to believe.

Amen to you. I believe this too and it is the ultimate and profound truth of what is going on. We cant call the radical jihadists who they really are.

Agreed. Was sitting on the back steps tonight thinking just that and feeling betrayed by every single person in our gov’t. Can see leading to no good thing.Only God Himself can be trusted.

I wish we would do more drilling and build more nuke plants. Then we could tell Saudi Arabia to piss off.

At least now we’re fracking and increasing our LNG production.

Sorry Cheney,

If you made the decision that we were at war after 911, and that justified every totalitarian program you initiated to protect our peace, why did you leave the southern border open ?

You are a liar sir !
