This story is newsworthy, no matter the skin color. We need to stop discussing it as if the skin color is the biggest element of the event. It’s not. We need the numbers. We need people with values to come into the tent with us. The knee jerk reaction that they are somehow lesser or suspect because of their skin color is just ridiculous and it does not reflect the true spirit of the conservative party. No please, stop it!

->Time for Conservatives to form their own Party while the Republicans commit suicide

Maybe one day. I am ready when it happens.

The first requirement for 95% of blacks is to be a democrat. If you’re black well that’s just icing on the cake. That’s why the black who ran for president didn’t get anywhere. Nationally there are not that many blacks that vote. You are talking about 12% of the population, and how many of them vote?

Human beings are naturally capitalist and fiscally conservative. It is common sense found in everyone which is why even small children would support these principles if shown through lessons the principle that you earn what you deserve and no one should be able to take it from you. That is where the cancer of socialism/liberalism/progressive-ism will fail because they have to brainwash and recruit new members for their cause.

GOP outreach is garbage. The Chicago GOP is essentially a pro-business Democrat and barely. Blacks are a major growth opportunity for the GOP and they share a ton of conservatives values.

Believe it or not, those include welfare reform. Even the recipients of it don’t like it.

This is why I don’t understand how the GOP decided to ignore social issues like marriage and abortion. Our “in” with minorities is with these issues as well as school choice...not with amnesty and being liberal-lite.

Thanks Kaslin.
My answer is that Republicans need to start acting more like the businesspeople they claim to be. Any businessman convinced that his product is the best doesn't blame customers for not buying it. He doubles down on his efforts to understand these potential customers better and how to sell to them... A Gallup poll done in 2011 showed that whereas 39 percent of whites say they are “very religious,” 53 percent of blacks do. A large percentage of “very religious” blacks are conservative and very different from blacks on the left who identify with the NAACP.
