A 5-year-old girl set up a lemonade stand across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church compound, and now the group is targeting her.

The efforts have clearly irritated Westboro members, Equality House resident Davis Hammet said.
"She was so awesome. She was such a sweetheart," Hammet said. "She was right in front of this hate group. She was unfazed and unafraid, and they are so very vile and rude to people."

Jayden told her father that she wanted to set up a lemonade stand to help a charity. After doing research, they settled on Equality House because of its mission and efforts, not its location across from the Westboro compound, her father said.
"She saw pictures of it and thought it was the most beautiful house in the world," Jon Sink said.
The father and daughter arrived about 11:30 a.m. Friday and set up shop. Jayden set up hand-made signs including one that said, "Pink lemonade for peace. $1 suggested donation."
Hammet said he saw Westboro members pacing up and down the sidewalk and repeatedly making phone calls. He believes they tried to call the police, who declined to shut down the lemonade stand.
"They use every legal power possible to shut down any kind of opposition," he said.
He said they also yelled rude comments at those buying the lemonade.
A group of motorcycle riders from Fort Riley came by and bought lemonade, and also ruffled the feathers of Westboro members, Hammet said. One soldier stepped on Westboro property while taking pictures, prompting at least one person to yell profanities at the soldier, who responded that he fought for his freedoms, Hammet said.

There are a lot of unbalanced people in the world. And others suffering from the deep grief of losing a child. These people torment innocents as a way of life.

I don't think the men (and I mean men only in a biological sense) of that looney bin directly participate in the picketing of funerals any more. IIRC they kept falling down and injuring themselves. Of course they claim they were assaulted but there were never any witnesses. It is only a matter of time before the women of that lot become just as clumbsy.

These Westboro folks intend and are meant by the MSM coverage to represent Christianity as a whole.
God hates everything, according to this sick group of people calling themselves a church. Especially noted is their wanton use of profanity - all in the name of God, no less. And this guy (the dad of the little girl) was decent enough to say that he feels sorry for them and he feels their hatred comes from a deep place of pain. I have to say, that almost sounds “liberal” of him. And there I disagree with him. That might be true of some of those people, but the fact of the matter is some people simply choose to be hateful just because that’s what they want - even if they’ve had a good life and a good upbringing, with very supportive/encouraging families. Some people just choose evil. It’s so much easier to be selfish, arrogant, undisciplined, and lazy. It takes way more effort to be kind, forgiving, patient, long-suffering, perseverant, and hard-working. For Westboro Baptist Church, they’ve chosen the lazy way out. And what a mess it has made of their perverted minds. What a really awful day Judgment Day is going to be for these people. When Jesus says, “I tell you the truth, what you did for the least of these my brethren, you did unto me.” - will be words that condemn these people on Judgment Day.

I am stunned a band of radicals haven’t post jammed all the exits while they were inside “worshiping” then firebomb the place like in the revolutionary war movie Patriot.

Google the “Equality House” and you will see the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. This girl may be riling up WBC crazies with her lemonade stand but she is doing it in support of homosexual advocacy. What 5 year old decides to raise money for homosexual advocacy of her own will.
IMHO this is at best a case of an unknowing pawn thrown in the middle of two groups of degenerates by a father more concerned with politics than his child. If this poor child actually understands some of the things she is advocating, the implications are much more sinister. For example what has happened to this poor girl to cuase her to even think about sexuality, homo or hetero, at 5yo.
