Military leaders are ready to begin tearing down the remaining walls that have prevented women from holding thousands of combat and special operations jobs near the front lines.
Under details of the plans obtained by The Associated Press, women could start training as Army Rangers by mid-2015 and as Navy SEALs a year later.
The military services have mapped out a schedule that also will include reviewing and possibly changing the physical and mental standards that men and women will have to meet in order to quality for certain infantry, armor, commando and other front-line positions across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. Under the plans to be introduced Tuesday, there would be one common standard for men and women for each job.

On land or at sea, an all-male fighting force will kick a co-ed force's ass every time. It's a fact of nature and a force of nature.
This is deliberate sabotage, as is the forced tolerance of open homosexuality in the ranks. Deliberate sabotage to give the enemy the upper hand.
Women can’t even make the NFL. Perhaps the government should lower the standards for pro sports.
I guess we re-name the SEALs. Let’s call them BEAVERs.
Our military is now about to begin a downslope of epic proportions.
Why change the standards?
It makes no mention of the physical standards - will they be compromised? Will there be a separate set of standards for female seals? Will they not have to endure hell week - or maybe their hell week will be different from that of Men?
I am sure there are some females with the physical attributes required to complete the training, but that can’t be more than a very small percentage - and of that group how many could meet the mental requirements?
I am sure that just like just about every other social equalization experiment that this will go terribly wrong.

This does NOT make a more effective fighting force!
Argue all day long, the number of women capable of being one of the 3 in 10,000 top specimens, is NOT worth making the accomodations!
Only 30 of 100,000 men make the cut.
How many women are capable of displacing ONE of those 30?
Objective cost/benefit analysis says “forget about it”!

Not only do we have 60s radical civilians running the DOD, we have cowardly pencil pushing Generals making the military into a large sociology experiment. This insanity will make our forces combat ineffective in little time if allowed to continue.
The commie lib destruction of the U.S. military is well underway. It won’t be long now.
The military should just quit. They are no longer defending the country they signed up to. Let the law of the jungle return.

I’d love to see a big push to allow women to play in the NFL. That would be fun to watch.
In the last week, I have heard female journalists use the term “flogged” describing how female politicians dealt with the military and “stripped” down males in the military. Flogged and stripped. Get the picture? Anything that is seen as dominant by males will be an issue: it is women reporters in male locker rooms multiplied by 100. If we have a female liberal president in 2016, it will be “Lights out in London,” er the USA. Nonstop reproductive talk and victimization and the ideal male will be gay men.
And the Army will have the “Rangerettes”
