Immigration Bill Would Slash Deficit, Budget Office Finds [The New BIG Lie!]
NY Times ^ | 6/18/13 | ASHLEY PARKER

Posted on 06/18/2013 3:15:07 PM PDT by SoFloFreeper

Congressional budget analysts said Tuesday that legislation to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws would cut close to $1 trillion from the federal deficit over the next two decades and lead to more than 10 million new legal residents in the country.

Get this, folks, we’re supposed to believe that giving amnesty and welfare to millions of more people will result in MORE money going to the government and LESS flowing out of D.C.

In Fantasy Land.

Slow path to progress for U.S. immigrants: 43% on welfare after 20 years

The study, which covers all immigrants, legal and illegal, and their U.S.-born children younger than 18, found that immigrants tend to make economic progress by most measures the longer they live in the U.S. but lag well behind native-born Americans on factors such as poverty, health insurance coverage and homeownership.

The study, based on 2010 and 2011 census data, found that 43 percent of immigrants who have been in the U.S. at least 20 years were using welfare benefits, a rate that is nearly twice as high as native-born Americans and nearly 50 percent higher than recent immigrants.

so more amnesty from republicans helps our country how again?

Just for giggles, I wonder if anyone has bothered to inform these “undocumented Democrats” that once they become legal residents they will be required to file a US income tax return on their world wide income and their employers will be required to withhold income (maybe), social security and medicare taxes from their wages.

Also, they will be required to continue to file those returns if they return to Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala or wherever until they renounce their residency or citizenship (if it comes to that).

At one time American citizenship was a prized gift bestowed on the blessed by birth or naturalization. Once the Democrat totalitarian vision comes to fruition, it may become the leech that doesn’t turn loose until the last drop is drained.

Amnesty is not for the 40,000,000 aborted taxpayers who would have been within our ranks paying taxes and buying stuff, but instead for the 40,000,000 Mexicans as economic proxies.

Just as ObamaCare was to make insurance less expensive by adding 10 million freeloaders to the rolls, Amnesty will slash the deficit by adding 30 million. Why don’t we import all of South America and balance the budget? This is Pelosi-level logic.

RE :”Immigration Bill Would Slash Deficit, Budget Office Finds [The New BIG Lie!], ...
As Sean Hannity told us, the CBO is the “gold standard.”

I saw a segment selling this on Special report today.

With Obama-care Obama used those CBO scores, which all turned out to be wrong, and the GOP did NOTHING in response.

Now it looks like the Rubio amnesty crowd is doing the same scam, the Obama trick, cooked CBO numbers.

In both cases nothing stopped the opponents from giving the CBO their own assumptions and asking for an estimate to use to counter, except the lameness of the opponents.

Only one side is fighting. It reminds me of the gay rights debate that Dems won. One side.

In a Seperate Study that Wasn't as Widely Publicized the CBO Found...

If Undocumented Democrats were to become legal residents:

1. Men would be able to perform sex for at least ten extra minutes
2. Women would have 25% more moments of bliss
3. Dogs would live longer
4. People would get more for their money at the super-market, all sizes would increase with no increase in cost
5. Children would be more healthy
6. The average life expectancy would increase by 35 years
7. Soap would work literally twice as good
8. You would get 10 more miles per gallon of gas
9. You could live on bread and water, and be twice as healthy as you are now
10. We would find a better battery in less than three months making all cars electric in two years
11. All polution would end
12. Rivers would start flowing in two directions, giving us twice as much water
13. Rickshaws would be a thing of the past
14. Global warming would stop and reverse lowering the temperature ten degress in as many years
15. All college tuition would be free
16. Everyone would retire at 32 and never have to work again
17. Mother in laws would always call before they came over
18. Mother in laws would always write a litter telling you when she was going to call next
19. Children would always mind
20. Your salary would go up by 47.23679292% in two years
21. Food would be free within 7 years
22. The price of gasoline would drop by 72.928376726% in three years
23. Divorce would be a thing of the past
24. Within four years it would start raining only at night, and each day would be sunny and bright
25. The NSA would stop keeping track of the phone numbers we call
26. The IRS would stop harassing Conservative groups
27. Life would be perfect

Honest!

Hannity is a GOP first man: Whatever is good for the GOP is good for America.

He sometimes plays like he opposes the GOP, he is taking his cues from Rush and Levin, they know tying themselves too closely to the GOP hurts them with fans.
But they also want the bennies of being loved by the GOP.

Rush and Hannity dont hide it well.

RE :”Yeah, GOPe. I understand he is now for amnesty?”

amnesty is in the eyes of the beholder, if they have to fill out a single form then they are being punished and so its not amnesty, they assure us.

Hannity repeats Rubio’s dribble, that he wants the border secure and anything else they include is fine to do.

I doubt you would disagree with anything substantial, he mostly laid out why this bill was bad and the likely extremely poor consequences of passing it.

I thought his best was the reminder to us to call any senators and reps on the bubble (R's), he said that really works, even makes D's nervous when they are assaulted by phone calls. He says that's what finally stopped the bill in 2007, it's what stopped the anti-gun bill this year and we need to marshall forces just as we did then.
