BizPac Review ^

Posted on 06/19/2013 11:58:57 AM PDT by Blue Turtle

The Catholic media is up in arms over comments President Obama made during a speech while in Northern Ireland for the G8 summit. Obama made what is described as “an alarming call for an end to Catholic education,” in spite of the fact that it is considered “a critical component of the Church.”

One can only assume muslim schools do not divide?

These people have been killing each other for centuries simply because of the transition of historical leadership to be either one guy or his uncle.

Its a question of his innate stupidity vs his innate arrogance.

Does he actually think that the homosexual support he’s courting will outweigh the Catholics he’s infuriating?

Hey, Barry, you Do know that there are an awful lot more Catholics than there are atheist homosexuals, don’t you?

Obama received 53 percent of the catholic vote in 08. I believe it was less in 2012. Hardly overwhelming.

Obama wants nothing less than the total destruction of the Catholic Church any which way it can be achieved....He may destroy the USA but he will not prevail against the church.

Yeah that’s what I thought. Polling. The same polling that had Gore beating Bush in 2000, Kerry beating Bush in 2004 and Romney beating Obama in 2012.

Some people will believe anything. Especially if it feeds their bigotry.

“If towns remain divided—if Catholics have their schools and buildings and Protestants have theirs, if we can’t see ourselves in one another and fear or resentment are allowed to harden—that too encourages division and discourages cooperation,” Obama said.”

Major bovine stuff. This is a call to dismantle all Christian religious institutions for ones that have prayer rugs and minarets.

Obama wants nothing less than the total destruction of the Catholic Church...

I would tend to agree with that. It was the Catholic Church that helped to initiate the downfall of Communism in Europe. Reagan and Thatcher did their parts, but Lech Welesa and his Solidarity movement got a big boost from Pope John Paul II.

If the global Communist movement can manage to destroy the Church, then they have removed one potential roadblock to global Communism.

The Catholic Church has also been an historic bulwark against Islam, and that would be another reason Mr. 0bama would want it to decline.

"How many divisions does the Pope have?" "Enough"

The thing for us to understand now is that he is now focusing on increasing division between Catholics and Protestants.

Are Protestants willing to stand and face our common enemy shoulder-to-shoulder, or will they choose to turn on Catholics when given the chance?

This is a critical consideration for both groups.

Divided we fall.
