I have been an employer for over 30 years. We don’t have a labor shortage. But we do have a very serious “ I want to sit on my ass and collect free stuff from the government instead of working” problem.
I could grow my business and take on much more work but the thought of looking for people to do it sickens me.

This has always been a ridiculous argument.
Our economic system has a population, and these people do things, they interact, they get employed doing things for each other. As the population increases, jobs generally increase. Independent to that is the unemployment rate... for a given population, this rate has periods of rise and decline. And independent from that, governments can have their boot on the necks of the private sector, or governments can get the hell out of the way and allow a private sector to flourish.
Quit paying people not to work, and in no time you’ll have people begging for those “jobs Americans won’t do”.
May have to shoot a few rioters “pour encourager les autres”, but they do that to themselves on a regular basis anyway.
Don’t we have job shortages now?
Paul and his ilk put corporations and business above the Constitution and welfare of this land. I would expect nothing less from a TARPer.

Real unemployment is on the order of 16% to 18%, to the best of my knowledge.
How can we have a labor shortage when no one can find work.
Way too many jobs and not enough people to fill them. This Obama recovery has left no one to fill all the jobs he has created. Let’s ship 10,000,000 muslims over here to fill all these jobs. Do the dems have Ryan video with a 14 year old boy or something?
Is there a single politician or judge out there that isn’t being blackmailed? I’m beginning to wonder.
