Gang of 8 reach border deal
GOP USA ^ | 6/20/2013 | United Press International

Posted on 06/20/2013 2:41:10 PM PDT by IbJensen

The bipartisan Senate "Gang of Eight" Thursday will likely present an agreement that would see increased border security provisions in the immigration bill.

The agreement was made to secure 70 votes needed to pass the controversial immigration reform bill, ABC News reported.

A source in Washington told ABC the agreement includes a huge increase in border personnel and an increase in fencing.

The "Gang of Eight" includes Republicans Marco Rubio of Florida, John McCain and Jeff Flake of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Democrats Chuck Schumer of New York, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Michael Bennet of Colorado and Dick Durbin of Illinois.

Republican Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee and John Hoeven of North Dakota are expected to introduce their alternative to the bipartisan immigration bill later Thursday, Politico reported. A group of Republicans is expected to then co-sponsor the legislation.

Meanwhile Sen. Rubio spoke about the gang's bill and the border security provisions with Fox News on Wednesday night, Politico said.

"This is not about anti-immigrants or anything or trying to be tough on anybody," Rubio said. "We are a sovereign country. Every sovereign country in the world has the right to protect its borders and who has access to the country."

These eight traitorous rats should be remembered for their deliberate abetting Obama and the Democrat dream scheme of driving the nails into America's coffin.

Move over Benedict Arnold! You were just a troubled player in the American Revolution, a hero that was put upon, ignored and decided that the British were going to win anyway. Bad choice. REAL TRAITORS, need your space.

“We are a sovereign country. Every sovereign country in the world has the right to protect its borders and who has access to the country.”

Well Mr. Rubio, that is nice sounding TALK. Was it designed, crafted to fool The Sheeple? You bet it is.

The Founders created a Representative Republic for WE THE PEOPLE, NOT for, The World. Do some reading Mr. Rubio. Yet looking around me in my city of Houston, former “Space City USA” it is clear that this is not “my” city, “my” State, “my” country. From what I can see, it is a case that the US of A is kind of like a dysfunctional Disneyland, with no borders, no leaving time, no cost to get in, free rides, free food, free services, and the RULES only apply to people like me, not those from South of the Border. Thats suicidal goofy!

A real business, operated like the US would be out of business. Period.

There was a time that per immigrants, generally, we were selective, with NO given assistance. Either you made it on your own, or you left. Think of a Dad who scrutinizes just who will date his daughter, just who will be a new member of the Family…? Likely, Mr. Rubio is following me on this. Cubans are tight on lineage. But this has been thrown into the trash and the trash can set on fire with paper like The Constitution & Bill of Rights. Thank you Teddy Kennedy & your pal, Lyndon Johnson for the 1965 Immigration Reform Act. Third World, come on in!

In reality, certain countries are NO longer allowed to scrutinize who comes in, and how many.

Example? England. In a handful of decades, what was once the Great English people have been shoved aside. All of those valiant wars, all of that bluster about fighting Mister Hitler to the death, well, even Hitler would not have wished what upon England what has happened. As the Finest Hour Britons die off, and their children fail to reproduce, England is quickly morphing into yet another Muslim “Euro” country.

Should you object, you can go to the Courts and to prison, you can be fined, you can lose your job… a right smashing dandy 1984 Orwellian Police State has emerged to make sure that the remaining Britons are compliant or else. Nice going “Great” Briton. And this is what you ended your Empire over in two suicidal World Wars? Oh, tea time!

But back to our shiny bright dystopia Mickey Mouse AmeriKa. The same is happening here as in England. In this case it is not so much Muslims, but we getting there (The Founders would be furious about that) but rather the countless Toltecian, Mexican… masses south of “our” so called border. Mexico can have a border, we cannot. If I read it right, THEY MUST be allowed in, or else!

I can thank for reading materials many of the Reconquesta sites, La Raza Unita (the race united) The US Chamber of Commerce –clamoring for cheap docile labor– To say NO, No more, No mas, means only one way racism. Right way racism is, La Raza Unita. Get it? You better get it or hundreds of illegals and Hispanics will come marching on you lawn, banging on your door, and giving lovely threats to you… as Kris Kobach got in Kansas City! “Toto, I don’t think we are in Kansas anymore.” That group, Sunflower Community Action, that did the lovey raid recently, is an APPROVED Non Profit Group! Bet the IRS will not investigate!

To top this off, we are seeing that behind the curtain, there are agencies that putting the final touches on a fully operational Death Star, I mean, an 1984 Orwellian Police State here in the Home of the Free, and the Land of the brave. It will be needed, as in England, to shut down, incarcerate, terminate… the children of The Greatest Generation…

Thank you Mister Rubio. Hope you like Benedict Arnold’s room. Make sure the your other 7 Gang Members behave.

We were already promised a fence and don’t have a fence.

This is another empty promise.

We should take the position that we originally said we would and that is that the fence must be built and proven effective and then we will talk about immigration reform.

It is a sad state of affairs when we can trust no one, not even the party that represented to us that they are conservative and believe in a nation of laws according to the limits of the Constitution.

We are ruled by liars and con men.

In both parties.

Won’t matter.

The Gang of Eight Liars would never agree to anything that really comes close to securing the border.

They all shot down anything tangible, they shot down no welfare to the illegals, they shot down border security first, they shot down anything meaningful.

Dead. To. Me.

More BP agents isn’t going to fix the immigration problem. Taking away employment opportunity will fix it.

20,000 more border patrol agents on the Canadian border will not help. You are correct.

Invaders should be sent home. If they self-deport, they can get in line from their homelands. If the feds have to send them home, it should be a one-way ticket...banned from ever returning. Feds say they can't find them all? US citizens should be paid to turn in invaders, alive and uninjured.

And we should put a "freeze" on new residencies in the US until we stabilize and assimilate our population.

History of immigration law shows we can't trust the feds with anything less.

They are lying and they are cynical. A fence is something visible and effective. “More personnel” is a false promise and nothing more.

The Israeli’s had a border incursion problem and they built a fence. The incursions all but ended. Build the fence.

There is a reason why we won’t succeed with more BP agents. One could look at any war and say that additional troops would make victory easier. The difference is that in a war when enemy troops get through the lines you don’t house them, feed them, educate them, provide healthcare, and use your own judicial system to confound the people trying to round them up.

“We are a sovereign country”....

We were, but it was given away.

Heads up! Good news!

From Heritage Action:

You Stopped the Food Stamp and Farm Bill
Congratulations!

Thanks to your hard work, this afternoon the U.S. House of Representatives voted 195 – 234, stopping the $940 billion food stamp and farm bill dead in its tracks!

Conservatives across the country called, wrote letters to the editor, and visited their Members of Congress in opposition to this mammoth spending bill. Our team worked hard to back you up with information and followup meetings with your Members of Congress.

This is a monumental win for taxpayers, consumers, the free market and yes, even farmers. The misnamed “farm bill” maintained the unholy alliance between food stamps and farm policy. Eighty percent of the spending in the bill went toward food stamps. Finally, after nearly 40 years of escalating costs to taxpayers and consumers, you stopped in the House.

As our nation nears $17 trillion in debt, Americans can rest easier tonight knowing that another reckless and irresponsible $1 trillion bill is not on its way to becoming law.

This victory is a result of your hard work. Thank you for everything you have done throughout this important battle.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Needham
Chief Executive Officer
Heritage Action for America

Nappy has already stated to congress that she can choose what laws to enforce. What difference will more border guys or more laws make?

I comforted by the fact that eight amnesty-peddling members of the Senate are making decisions for the rest of the body.

Heard about this on Rush this AM.

Bottom Line: Security before Amnesty is dead. Period.

As Rush pointed out: “Remember, building a 700 mile security fence is ALREADY THE LAW OF THE LAND. The amendment that affirmed that was KILLED.”

As others have pointed out: This deal is literally the same as the one Reagan signed into law, and promised security before amnesty. Ed Meese wrote an editorial to the WSJ on this two days ago.

Treason, boys. That’s what this is.

I was hoping the news might lift the spirit a little bit....though I know these times are so difficult.

The Bill hasn’t yet passed...so perhaps there is still time and a miracle might happen....

God is STILL in control ....and he will keep those of us who love Him no matter what happens.

<....”Invaders should be sent home”...>

Not sure what your faith is but Historically when a nation turns their back on God ......they are always “Invaded” there after...and it doesn’t have to be Militarily.
