Yep getting an early jump on the 2018 Senatorial primary season it seems. Or maybe he’s squirreling some cash back for a Presidential run.
I forwarded the following email to my useless senator (the OTHER one from Texas!):
Dear Sen.,
Today, on the floor of the U.S. Senate, you argued in favor of passing the new immigration bill on “humanitarian” grounds because of the people who died trying to illegally enter this country.
Senator, let me ask you a question: Suppose a thief wants to break into your house and steal goods that you and your wife have worked to purchase. And, in the process of breaking into the second story of your house, the thief falls and breaks his leg? Are you obligated to help that thief complete his task by taking the possessions he was after, putting them in a pillowcase and helping him back to his car?
That, Senator, in esence is what this immigration bill does and you should be aware of the fact that most Texans and most Americans oppose its passage. I strongly encourage you to re-consider your position and oppose the immigration bill.

Correct, fundraising ploy. The “petition” says nothing ASAICT. I’ve just about had it with the entire lot of ‘em.
Went to the Reagan Library not long ago. Walked out saying to myself, “We’re surrounded by political dwarves.” And they aren’t humorous at all.

There are ten Senator’s offices I have called every day this week plus McConnell. Only office I have been able to get thru every day is Ted Cruz’s. Reached Cornyn only once. All the others either did not answer, got the “please call back during regular business hours recording - even though I called every day from 9 to 10 a.m. - or their mail boxes were full. Also tried sending a fax to five of the people on the undecided list which was posted on another FR link - never did get their fax to answer. They DO NOT want to hear from us.
