It’s interesting that the atmosphere contains ~ 20ppm of some old Dodge Cars.

One day we will sit back and not be able to help laughing at the madness of things such as “social weather stations”.

This has to set the record for the biggest pant-load of the century.
I have yet to talk to a Filipino that even mentions climate, much less climate change.

The good news is that they can all come here under the amnesty deal.

Ship them all here, empty the island. Then I'll move there. Problem solved. I get to carry the heavy burden of knowing I'll be affected by the horrors of climate change, and they can be safe in the knowledge that climate change will never occur in the United States because our betters have looked out for the common good.

I remember during my lfetime when we held scientists in high esteem.

And now, in my latter years, I have learned to distrust everything that comes from their mouths. They have sunk, IMO, to the level of politician - that’s low.

I had one tell me it was hot today!

Of course, we had a "brown-out" all day due to a bus knocking down a power pole! I had my A/C working again about 7pm... Now, the "globull warming" is better!

The math is too complicated for the little people, but cool springs are a result of Global Warming.

FROM THE ARTICLE “Likewise, the survey results showed that about one-third or 38 percent of respondents have “only little” understanding of climate change, while 14 percent have “almost no understanding” of the subject. Only 12 percent of respondents said that they have “extensive” knowledge on climate change, while some 35 percent has “partial but sufficient” understanding.”

So some 52% of respondents had little to no understanding of climate change and this is somehow a legitimate survey.

Beat me to it and it suits the current meme. Maybe I can get special consideration - when Summer hits in S. MS, I suffer that particular climate change...

I am some sick and damn tired of this man-made climate insanity. Man does not make nor control nor change the climates of Earth! Our climates are controlled by the activities of the sun. When will we hear the last of this ignorant, corrupt insanity?

Don’t you dare question political correctness! Global warming is a fact, the science is settled. Al Gore said so. Al Gore cannot be questioned!!

The politically correct crowd would NOT give any credence to your wife being Filipina, and thus having some better idea of what’s going on in the Phillipines than their “experts” who have never been there!

Reading through papers that describe the CO2 measurements, the equipment is solid enough. That's long-settled engineering, and can hardly be disputed without tossing basic physics (e.g. spectral analysis). Then they have to smooth out the natural and man-made fluctuations, depending on the location (some are natural settings like an island in the Mediterranean , some are industrial areas in Germany). In any case they describe their process and in most cases produce a curve that shows mostly the same rise and annual wiggle as Mauna Loa. Remote southern locations like Antarctica produce less annual wiggle but the same overall rise.

It's possible to argue there is a closed circle of science that produces the same results. But it is not possible to argue that the Mauna Loa volcano matters nor that there is a conspiracy of some sort. It could be bad science, but that is extremely unlikely at this point.
