It seems the nation's emblem flies for so many stupid reasons these days. Whitney Houston comes to mind. Did they lower the flag for Michael Jackson?

It always cracks me up that whenever a celebrity dies, people on this forum try to be the first to chime in claiming they never heard of them as if this is some badge of honor.
I've never seen an episode of The Sopranos in my life but I'm not so clueless and out-of-touch to not have known that during it's heyday, it was the most popular show on television.

If you never watched the show, why would anyone take your opinion seriously about this matter? I know I don’t.
BTW, if someone proposed lowering the American flag to half mast, I would agree that was inappropriate.
I really don’t give a hoot if you believe me, I am telling you I never heard of this idiot until he croaked. I have heard of the show, but never partook of a single episode. The most recent thing I watched on TV is Nashville. Italian criminals don’t interest me, I am not from the East Coast like you.
Maybe someone knows this but does the rainbow flag signify anything in addition to homosexual sex? I ask because at a recent flight into Boston’s Logan Airport, I saw what appeared to be the state flag, the U.S. flag and the rainbow flag displayed. Has it come to that? Even in Massachusetts?
