......cannot have employers NOT hire criminals, which are disproportionately BLACK Applicants because they are MUCH more likely to have had a Criminal past.
We are being race-preferenced up the ass with these assholes; you can't be coddled and given TAXPAYER money unless you happen to be black. Why not investigate why Blacks are getting a disproportionate share of Obamaphones, EBT's, Public Housing, Food Stamps, etc., compared to the recipients as a whole, and remove a percentage of them from ALL Subsidies, to have "True Equality".
OTOH; black applicants looking for a job is not a Major Issue....they are 4th Generation inner-city tribal parasites, and live solely on Whitey's money (or drug dealing).
Because the people excluded from employment by such a screen are disproportionately black. I’m afraid I shan’t be able to go into any more detail than that.

Because blacks have a much higher incarceration rate than others, therefore background checks have a disparate effect on blacksand no, I’m not making that up.

I want the liberals to answer this question then. If background checks for purchases of guns and concealed weapons permits are run on blacks, is that also discriminatory?

I asked my headhunter that regarding a math and logic test a perspective employer gave to everybody. The test had cut the employer’s turnover by 50%. He told me that because an inordinate number of blacks failed the test that the test was, therefore, discriminatory against black. Somebody here said that math is math, you know it or you don’t. Well, the determination where I live is decided by black judges put in place by Democrat governor Childs. Logic as we understand it does not apply in a court that sees through a racist filter.
What's next? No more using college transcripts for assessing candidate qualifications?

Leading to another step of “defining deviancy down” (a phrase from the late Senator Moynihan). Next step is a black having a criminal record being “authentically black”, while a black without a criminal record is “acting white”.
I can’t count how many companies I have applied to that do criminal background checks. Ex felons have rights but so do employers, where is the balance?
I am very aware on the disparate incarceration rates. Trust me on this.
Job applicants will not be FORCED to interviews in English, and must have all written material/forms provided in Spanish AND Ebonics.....
That still doesn’t make it disctiminatory if a company doesn’t hire criminals regardless of race.
Wonder what would happen if 100 million white Americans filed a class action lawsuit against Eric Holder for discriminating against whites?
We could use the 2008 Philly polling station, every black on white crime that wasn’t reported like white on black crimes and government agencies filled with blacks as our proof that the justice department is racist.

The same federal gov’t won’t allow most felons to have authorization to haul hazardous materials, which requires a haz-mat endorcement on their drivers license, which includes an FBI background check.

First, companies were barred from testing applicants. This lead to the college degree bubble, grade inflation and college trained idiots.
Now criminal background check are being used to check to see if people have at least basic morals. And the government wants to shut that down.
How is a business now supposed to determine if the candidate can be trusted and is able to do the job. Oh I know, you no longer hire employees. Rather, you have a bunch of contractors and if you don’t like them, simply don’t renew their contracts. If you do like them, offer them a longer term contract.
Employees will be a thing of the past, mark my words. It will all be contractors and temps.

Fundamentally changing America!!! As promised.
During the 60's, we saw the pictures of the marches, and fire hoses and dogs being turned against civil rights marchers. Part of the civil rights movement was to give blacks equal access to white schools in the belief that attending white schools would give them better educations. Ok, they won that fight. Then what happened? Blacks, by the millions, turned their backs on that hard won victory.
In time, two people would be considered for the same job, with both of them having had the same opportunities for an education which would prepare them to enter the work force and be qualified to do that job. One of them chose not to get that education and was therefore by choice, not qualified. And astonishingly, the government intervened on behalf of the person who chose poorly.
Hmmm ... Maybe They should file a civil rights suit against Justice for not hiring felons as agents.
Hell, cop shops across the nation discriminate in the employment of felons.
Evidence lockers wouldn’t require as much space, court backlogs would be a thing of the past, and once amnesty passes, we could have a new cartel economy under the “color” of authority!
