Two ex-Marines have been sentenced to death after they stormed the home of an Iraq veteran and his wife and shot the newly married couple dead. Sgt. Jan Pietrzak, 24, was forced to watch as his wife Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak, 26, was raped, before the couple were shot in the head by their attackers, according to court documents. Emrys John, 23, and Tyrone Miller, 25, were both given the death penalty yesterday for their roles in the 2008 killings in Riverside County, California. A third ex-Marine, Kevin Cox, 25, was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The three men - all former Marines - had stormed into the couple's home in the French Valley neighbourhood as part of a robbery scheme, prosecutors said. A jury in Riverside County recommended the death penalty for John and Miller yesterday, according to the LA Times. Sgt Pietrzak was an Iraq war veteran who was stationed at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego. His wife was a counsellor with an infant care programme in Riverside County. The couple had been married for just two months.

The headline says ex-Marines. Ex now, but they were in the Marines then, and two of them in Sergeant Pietrzak's command.

The article does not address the possibility of a racially motivated crime and the prosecutor did not pursue it. The four attackers were black, Sergeant Pietrzak was white and his wife was black.

Motivation being just robbery said prosecutor - robbery, rape and torture is what happened.

Coverage, British. Not much American.

I bet you this one time that Marines will be happy to call this trash ex - Marines. Obama’s son’s one and all aren’t they? I’m sure Holder would be the first to classify this as a hate crime, right?

Good, may the execution happen quickly
(however in California the average wait for execution is thirty-one years)

Sounds like a bunch of Obama’s peeps were out for a night of raping and pillaging, showing whitey not to mess with their women.

The Mail simply copies articles from our papers and republishes them. Almost word for word.

From the NY Daily News. It was personal

http://tinyurl.com/n2x8dzw

"According to prosecutors, the four men went to the victims' home with the intention of robbing it. Miller testified he also wanted to confront Sgt. Pietrzak over a perceived slight at work, saying he believed the helicopter mechanic planned to stand in the way of his promotion to corporal.

A jury in Riverside County recommended the death penalty

Meaningless in California. This state has not executed anyone for many years and all the statewide politicos especially the attorney general are stridently anti-death penalty. When Kamela was district attorney of Frisco she refused to charge the death penalty for cop killers. For that, the crazed CA voters rewarded her with the attorney general office.

There is a huge industry where taxpayer paid lawyers appeal and stall while charging many millions in fees. Better they should have given these scumbags life without parole so the taxpayers only have to pay double the amount that Texas pays per year to house them and not the lawyers' fees.

Race definitely played a factor. If it was intended to just be a robbery, then why the rape? They raped the black woman in front of her white husband as a way to say that the black woman should be with black men. The wife and husband were singled out, raped, and murdered because of their mixed marriage.

The legal system and media always downplays the racism when it’s black on white. If the races were reversed and three white guys raped and murdered an interracial couple it would be national news and dubbed a hate crime. Whites wouldn’t rape and murder an interracial couple, though, because whites are far less racist and far less inherently violent than black people.

First I saw the names ... then the pictures, and my brain immediately said, some kind of race thing.

Almost like a mooselimb honor killing or something.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'll guess there's mooselimb indoctrination in the three scumbags.

There were undoubtedly local papers that covered it - where it happened in California, and in the hometowns of the murdered couple. But it is not considered national news in the US.

Aside from the racial issue and the MSM and state prosecution not being willing to touch it, there is the problem of the armed forces recruiting and retaining such thugs, truly scraping the barrel. I don’t believe they were model Marines, or that they were law-abiding decent men before they joined.

Race of the vicims or perpetrators is not mentioned once. It never is unless the perpetrators are white, and then it becomes all about race, and there's no longer a need for a trial. Guilt is determined on that basis alone.

California has a court order to reduce it's population by 10,000. This would a good place to start.

Racial slurs were spray-painted in the house and fires had been set in an apparent attempt to destroy evidence.

The racial slurs were used to throw investigators off, according to court records.

uh, sure... if the house had burned down as planned, who was going to see the racial slurs?
