HONG KONG — The Hong Kong government announced on Sunday afternoon that it had allowed the departure from its territory of Edward J. Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor who has acknowledged disclosing classified documents about United States government surveillance of Internet and telephone communications around the world. snip

The Aeroflot agent said that Mr. Snowden is traveling with one other person, with the surname Harrison, but the agent declined to release the other traveler’s first name, saying that she did not have the authorization to do so. The closest adviser to Julian Assange, who orchestrated the release of the Wikileaks diplomatic cables three years ago, is named Sarah Harrison, prompting speculation that she was the Harrison on the flight with Mr. Snowden.

Thanks, Baracle. Is the app for flight tracking safe to download?

I have reliable but unconfirmed info that the Moscow destination is a transit layover to Bolivia via Havana.

I think so, but the fact he is being protected by hostile nations such as Russia, China, Cuba and Venezuela doesn’t sit right with me......say what you like, America is a lot more of a free country than any of them, in spite of the tyrant Obama.

It is a bit hypocritical of him to use these nations as a safe haven if he is such a moral crusader don’t you think?

You don’t need to download the app. The flights can be tracked from their website. Snowden’s plane just landed though.

At this point, the US wants him neutralized, so to prevent that, you have to go elsewhere, no?

But I am thinking this kid doesn’t much care what happens to himself at this point

I do not care how much information Snowden released or who he released it to as far as the Nation’s enemies go. Whoever it was and whatever it was they did not learn anything new or that they did not already from him. Why? Because they had already gotten the information from the occupier of the White House, obama. Whenever obama learns something that will harm the United States, in less than five minutes, the enemise of the United States are in possession of the same information. On November 6, 2012, a majority of voters approved of this. From what I read, Snowden was one of the aprovees. So whateve happens to him, I don’t care. My beef is, why isn’t obama being gone after with the same vigor that they are going after him?

Russia’s Interfax news service, citing a “person familiar with the situation,” reported that Mr. Snowden would remain in transit at an airport in Moscow for “several hours” pending an onward flight to Cuba, and would therefore not formally cross the Russian border or be subject to detention. Someone close to Mr. Snowden later told Interfax that he planned to continue on to Caracas, Venezuela.

And the Administration screws up again.......LOL

In this case, I suspect it is a bit of Chinese inscrutability. Their press release is a masterpiece.

How come Assange wasn’t able to mastermind his own situation and is still hanging out in an Embassy?

I don’t know what to make of Snowden. He is clearly getting significant help.

I think the point is that WE are the nations enemies. I had a UK friend, who is an Obama lover, tell me that I am not a patriot and I am an enemy of the US because I cling to the US Constutition.

I believe that we need to accect that to the Obama administration, it is WE who are their sworn enemy.

All of Obama’s moves, this term, tell me this is so.

This whole thing is casting doubt on the idea that Obama is part of a One World Government movement...

The world’s leaders don’t seem to respect him, or his authority, much.
