While I'm glad that the extent of NSA Domestic Spying has come into common knowledge (though for most FReepers, it has been known for years), any sympathy I had for Snowden ended when he disclosed specific Chinese IP addresses that NSA hacked.

At first he seemed like a breath of fresh air, but it now appears he is a spy giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Drone the bastard.

A lot of ex-pats are heading to Ecuador. International Living magazine has rated Ecuador number one overall for ex-pats. I wonder how long a small nation could hold out against the NSA? I would think that the NSA could threaten a small country with a version of the Stuxnet aimed at the power grid or communications system. And if the NSA tries to pull some crap like this, expect a likewise response from China, Russia or an anonymous group of hackers against the US.
A Muslim US dictator in control of the NSA; this story will not end well I fear.

Those IP's look like HK citizens, not PRC IP's. HK citizens are the ones who are anti tyrant. The PRC would be the ones who are the tyrants.

I reserve my judgement.

To: markomalley; a fool in paradise

I suspect that on top of his other crimes, Snowden is going to fail to file his 2013 Form 1040!

Learning Russian is hard, but not hard enough to make me want to live in Venezuela rather than Moscow.

Then, on top of everything else, since we are considering such “plausible” scenarios as the boy being an Obama plant, there is the matter of his family name: is Snowden snowing us?

If he were truly noble. He would not go to a country that is a sworn enemy of the United States like Venezuela. He would have went to a neutral country like Iceland. If the story is true that he is going there our government should terminate him with extreme prejudice. After we have secured the laptops of course...

Yep. They should find, shoot him, kill him. Some FReepers should man up (or woman up) and admit they were wrong about him. I respect a person that can do that. The inverse also applies.

I have the same view. So it’s still true? He told how we hacked?

That is treason.

This shows that he’s heading to Equador, but who knows what’s accurate anymore. I’m sure he’s elated that all these “leaks” are coming out about him. :)

“WikiLeaks said he was being accompanied by Sarah Harrison, described by them as a UK citizen, journalist and legal researcher.”

“Russia’s Itar-Tass news agency said there is a flight ticket in his name from Moscow to Cuba and that he will then fly on from there. It said that his flight to Havana from Moscow would take place on Monday.”

Agreed....and he's got more coming , once he's connected in Equador...and interfaces with Assange via the Ambassador working for Assange in Londons Ecuador Embassy, where Assuage remains under guard. Assange currently only meets personally with people...no access to a computer...the Ecuador Ambassador and Assanges various personal "team" that visits..all relay what Assange wants done.

Is this some kind of geography show?

Does he have Matt Lauer or Carmen Sandiego or Yoko Ono or Mike and Mel White with him?

Yep. Defending the constitution is a very different thing from what this Quisling punk did, after he lied and cheated his way into the Termite mound.
