I picked up a Rossi Rio Grande, and it had issues feeding the 45-70 cartridges.
After looking up stuff online, it would seem that these weapons need a LOT of break-in time.
Also, the feed ramp got wedged on an internal piece of metal, and I couldn't close the action.
Fixed this when I got home, though.

Aye. No problem.
It was kind of embarrassing to have to leave the range with my rifle’s lever action open, and barely fitting in the case.
It did shoot wonderful, though. Spot on all the way. I hit what I aimed at.
That being said, I’m still going to pick up the Ranch Hand someday. The .44 Magnum model.

OH! One more thing!
Before shooting, wedge a spent casing in the feed ramp to, “loosen up,” the spring. Just stick it in there and let it sit for a few days or weeks. Mine’s been in for over a month.
