A recent Pueblo Chieftain article about the recall effort of state Sen. Angela Giron quoted the senator as stating she believes that effort is in part, racially motivated due to her Mexican heritage. I believe that Ms. Giron is using the race card to distract the voters in District 3 from the facts that have been the basis for the recall effort. The senator, as well as many in District 3 believe that the whole recall issue is about the gun laws she supported. Those gun laws are simply the match that lit the fuse. - See more at: http://www.chieftain.com/opinion/1349206-120/giron-pueblo-recall-senator#sthash.n5G10wZn.dpuf

We conclude therefore that she is saying that her Mexican heritage compels her to favor gun control.
Um, still confused over this whole hispanic/rasis thingy. Doesn’t hi”spanic” imply their ancestors came from Spain? That being the case, aren’t they really europeans? Just they settled in Mexico instead of the U.S. Again with the place of your ancestors home country determining race? Sounds like a false claim to me. Like I read somewhere else earlier today, African-American? There were lot’s of white folks from Africa. One of my buddies son married a pretty white girl from Johannesberg. She can legally put African-American on any form she fills out.
The entire letters page was about the recall. There are many at the source link. Well worth checking out.
All but one of these letters to the editor were saying the race card is overdrawn and will accept no further charges. The exception was quite a contrast.
Mexicans are a contrived “race” that resulted from the White Spaniards who took over what is now Mexico procreating with the local “Indian” population. Mexicans are just a bunch of “mongrels.” La Raza, no I don’t think so.
Thanks for that. At least someone else kinda agrees with me. And the msm and just about every other gaggle of asshats never calls it out as being total BS.
