Maybe the flight to Cuba story was a hoax and he’s going to Ecuador by another flight.

Tom Cruise should be investigated. Sounds like the IMF grabbed him while the rest of the world will think he is in hiding somewhere.

This guy is simply being wise. Of COURSE you’re not going to broadcast your whereabouts when this corrupt Administration is looking for you.

I cheer him on in his quest for freedom.

I got a feeling Snowden is in for a world of hurt from all this.

There are some very unsavory characters out there on both sides.

My opinion of him has gone from fairly positive to completely negative. Not because of anything any gov’t official (Rat or Republican) has said but because of his movements. My Mom always taught me that you’re known by the company you keep.He appears to be keeping company with just about every enemy this country has.I now see no difference between him and that little Commie faggot,Julian Assange.

I am in a wait and see mode. I don’t blame him for not trusting our allies. The US government carries a big stick and any friendly nation is going to bend to our wishes and turn him over. Frankly at this point in time I have more favorable opinion of Putin than I do of Obama.

Ecuador’s a bad move...he’d stand out less in Iceland, and anyone coming to get him there would stand out more.

Odds are, whatever’s being discussed in public is a smokescreen...or should be.

“My opinion of him has gone from fairly positive to completely negative.”

I’m in the same boat and it changed when he started saying that the US spies on China etc and spilled the beans on what we do them.

If he just stated “The NSA is spying on Americans” I’m fine with that but to spill the rest of our capabilities to our enemies abroad, that pissed me off. BTW, I know a couple of places in the Philippines to hide out but being a white guy, he’ll stick out.

I think it's safe to say none of that was news to the Chinese. We spy on foreign governments all the time & always have. And they on us.

..... If there is going to be an interdiction, it would most likely be during the
subject Snowden’s attempt at relocation while his whereabouts and destination are officially unknown by the public. Once the Subject gains
assylum and digs in, the extraction or termination would be much more visible and difficult on so many different levels.

"he’d stand out less in Iceland, and anyone coming to get him there would stand out more."

I think there is a direct flight to Iceland but it's from St. Petersburg, not Moscow. (Or he/wikileaks could charter a flight. James Gandolfini just did, and he's not even alive.)

As Commie creeps go, Barack Hussein Obama concerns me more than Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping.

I’d heard he was seeking asylum in Ecuador. Has that changed?

He flew from Hong Kong to Moscow yesterday.

He has allegedly sought asylum in Ecuador, was going to leave on a plane to Cuba.

Tricked a bunch of journalists into watching an empty plane seat.

( gotta love it)

There is much much much more to this story.

I am withholding judgment until I see how this plays.

There were a lot of leaks prior to this that led to scandals for Obama.

Don’t piss of the CIA. Oh, and the CIA and the NSA aren’t exactly buddy buddy.

This one could have been done with the same purpose.

By someone’s hand.

Is Snowden a pawn or was he acting alone.

I doubt he was acting alone.

To add to the speculation:

A White House petition to pardon Edward Snowden, who has been charged with three felonies so far, has garnered more than 100,000 signatures, the threshold for earning an official reply.

The petition gained the needed signatures with more than two weeks to spare in the petitioning period. The White House presents the petitions as a way to include “your voice in our government.”
