Skittzles ‘n ice teees, biatch!
Yes, I’m sure I heard some chuckles throughout the courtroom.
I wound up wishing O’Mara was doing it. O’Mara is a lot shrewder and smoother, from where I sit. Still, West covered a LOT of salient stuff that is utterly devastating to the prosecution.
The judge is coming across like a menopausal witch. #EstrogenTravesty
Are we talking about jurors or the majority of the regular uninformed voting public? /sarc
I think that joke was a subtle reminder to the jury that they have to clear their minds as to what they knew about Mr Zimmerman before they were seated.
I see nothing wrong with that joke.
Although a joke in the midst of a serious trial is out of place. Times have changed. Where’s Perry Mason?
So, did the defencse get a call last night from hussein to intentionally lose the case? Can’t have whitey get out of this... oh, wait, part hispanic and part black, ooops.
Could it vary by County? I’d swear we were told not to take notes.
The way he prefaced it was appropriate and profound, but most people will never hear or read about that.
...which is okay, perhaps, because the jury is who counts, really.
It sure takes the intended punch out of an opening statement when the judge sustains objection after objection. Has West ever given opening statements in his career? He’s not doing GZ any favors.
We have to wonder. Although this judge definitely seems hostile to the defense. So much of this stuff is subject to her discretion.
Her demeanor in addressing the question of fairness with respect to GZ’s parents being in the courtroom told me all I need to know about her sympathies.
If it weren't for the f bomb a lot of people would starve.
Pull up to Mc D's, curse at the clown, throw money in the window, get food.
Just like lab rats.
Zimmerman should fire West. The jury would respect him for it.
I hope and pray you are right!
It is Politically Incorrect to hope for a fair trial — for starters, it should never have got to trial.
HST, it was Politically Correct to indict Zimmerman.
Also really old
Gerry: Knock knock
Alice: Who's there?
Alice: OJ who?
Gerry: Ok you can be on the jury!
Joke fell flat then too ;^)
That was really lame.
