Don West followed with opening statements on behalf of Zimmerman, offering a knock-knock joke that fell flat before the stone-faced jurors.
“Who’s there?” West said. “George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman who? Okay, good. You’re on the jury.”
Interesting how laws on juries vary from state to state. Only six jurors here, and if I recall my jury duty correctly, in California notes are not allowed.
And excuse my language, but those were his words, not mine.
oh yes they were yours
you made them yours by repeating them..
Knock Knock...Who’s there?
Me! Zimmerman’s asinine and adolescent defense attorney, who doesn’t take you or this case seriously...
To bad the defense didn’t play Martins foul tweets for the jury, tells a lot about his character. I bet these women jurors would find them enlightening.
“When Guy said Zimmerman “made a decision that brought us all here today,” the juror identified as E6 nodded her head in apparent agreement”
Well, there it is. Barely started and one juror has already found him guilty. Zimmerman doesn’t stand a chance. Not with his a-hole attorney cracking stupid jokes.
Zimmerman is so screwed!
Nobody is stunned by the F Bomb anymore.
Anyone who uses the F word is guilty of murder?
Zimmerman should fire his attorney right now and demand a new one. That stupid joke is going to stick in the back of the minds of the jury and they will view him as a clown that isn’t taking the trial seriously.
The women jurors were more likely "shocked" by the prosecutor's shouting those words in the courtroom, than by the idea that George Zimmerman muttered them --softly and under his breath-- while in a threatening situation.
Most American women (including me) have heard this kind of language, on the street, for the last few decades. It's a sad statement on the moral decline of our culture that these words no longer shock ... not on the street.
A courtroom setting is different, however. If I had been one of those women jurors, I would've felt insulted by an officer of the court spouting obscenities in an attempt to manipulate me.
Regarding knock-knock joke, I suspect that it was intended to fall flat to sober up the jurors to the idea that Zimmerman is probably not getting a fair trial.
Regarding the f-bomb, the jurors are going to have to ask themselves how many times that they’ve used the f-word and then killed somebody.
Don West joke may not be so proper for a trial.....
However...it got everyones attention...judging by the comments. Got jurors attention
Jury does not have to like you....just believe you. Ask Casey Anthony
Skittzles ‘n ice teees, biatch!
So, did the defencse get a call last night from hussein to intentionally lose the case? Can’t have whitey get out of this... oh, wait, part hispanic and part black, ooops.
