Curators at the U.K.’s Manchester Museum were a bit perturbed when they noticed an ancient Egyptian statue changing position over time without any employees claiming to have moved it.
So, they set up a camera to capture what might be happening. What they saw was just as unnerving.
When viewing the footage taken over a week in time-lapse, they saw the statue of Neb-Sanu, which is only 11 inches tall, turning around on its own.

Floor vibrations, maybe unevenness in the table too. It only turns when people are walking by. If it only turned when the room was empty that would be creepy, only turning when there are people is vibration.

I’ll go with they should have stuck a bit of museum wax on the bottom of the statue. It looks like the vibrations from the foot traffic is transferring to the statue, which is pivoting on a point on the base of the statue. A tiny tack of wax, and they’ll solve their curse.
Notice how the statue doesn’t move during the night, and seems to move the most during the early morning hours where footfall traffic and cleaning crews would be causing the strongest vibrations in the flooring.
Maybe the Tube runs underground near the bldg, and it vibrates?
Floor vibration from customer traffic, a slightly out of level floor and the statue in balance after the turn.
Egyptian version of a poltergeist.
You’d expect sometimes the tube runs when there aren’t people in this building, so that seems unlikely. But definitely natural causes.
Damn! Mighty big roaches to move the statue! Or, is it the ants?

Looks like it only moves during the day when people are walking around. Could be their footsteps vibrate the floor and table enough to get it turning.
