The establishment will arrange for several candidates speaking conservative rhetoric to run against him so the opposition vote will be split.

Graham will win the GOP primary with the opposition split among several candidates......

If McCain crokes Brewer ought to send Wil Cardon to senate to trash Flake.

Brewer is far too progressive to do anything fun like that.

I’m seriously beginning to wonder if Lindsay Graham is even going to run for re-election next year....Even if he can pull in all kinds of money from the RNC as a RINO establishment favorite, how is he not committing pure political suicide here???

Makes ya wonder what all has been promised to those assisting in the passage of this crap sandwich. They've been given an offer they can't refuse.

The FB comments on these two (and Rubio’s, Corker’s, etc.) sites are pretty telling. They are getting an earful of slams.

Do you know anything about Dwayne Stovall from Cleveland, TX who is right now trying to gather 5,000 signatures to get on primary ballot against Cornyn? Wondering if he is a serious candidate or does he have a chance against Cornyn?

“Well obviously, America is no longer a representative republic. At least, not when it comes to anyone but hard-core leftists being represented.

Republican politicians represent the special interests who control the party and fund the campaigns. It takes big money to run for office. When votes on issues critical to big money are taken, representatives will vote for money over constituents. These votes (healthcare, gun control, amnesty) always occur non election years so the people will forget the treachery.

In this case, big business interest in a never ending supply of low priced labor and more people to buy products trumped the desire of the public for secure borders and limited immigration.

Only the one link that’s on the net about him. Don’t believe he has ever run or held public office before. IMO Cornyn can be ousted but it’s going to take a very strong candidate with lots of money, lots of boots on the ground. 2014 is an off year and may affect voter turnout.

Democrats in our area have formed a new political group, trained a lot of people and are already going door to door on the weekends to sign people up to vote.

Will be interesting to see how the special session turns out today, whether Democrats filibuster so there is no vote for new abortion standards and, if so, whether Perry calls another special session.

“Why, if it wasn’t for the blackmail, where they’d vote NO, I’d still vote for ‘em”?

Even if your hypothesis is correct, they still need to be released into the Real World: they are either dirty (to be able to obtain dirty laundry, there must be dirt) or love power too much (to stand up to the blackmail)

On a side not, I wonder where all the big gov’t boot-lickers are hiding out (ALA Snowden)? I’m sure if Rubio wrapped it up in ‘National Security’ they’d be willing to throw their 1-3, 5-8th A Rights in along w/ the 4th.

Wicker is a cousin of Fred Thompson; maybe Fred is instructing him.

But we do have to blame our own clueless Republican primary voters who just nominate familiar names, too lazy to do the work of finding out about the voting records of “friendly incumbents”.

It’s too late practically to run a primary campaign against Cornyn. And Cruze would have to be backing someone else for it to succeed.

Still though Republican primary voters in SC, which includes Democrat crossovers, don’t even know where “Loveable Lindsay” stands on immigration. They just know he is a familiar face and gets national media coverage for SC.
