DEMONIZING EDWARD SNOWDEN: WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?
I find it very interesting that all the leaks from Hillary’s teams over the last few years, leaking ACTUAL state secrets on enemies and opponents, as well as the Benghazi “leaks” and the IRS misbehavior, etc etc etc
produced nothing; not one person held responsible or punished. But this man, who “leaks” what we already knew (but couldnt prove) for the “crime” of making obama look bad, is to be jailed for 30 years?
obama=Castro, I guess.
Neither, nothing presented represents the reality of this situation.
I agree. Something stinks with this one.
Seems to me that the US Government has become this nation’s enemy.
I don’t know who is pulling the strings of this government but they are certainly no longer of the people, by the people, or for the people. The US Government has far exceeded its Constitutionally delineated authority. It is no longer legitimate.
None of this is sticking to Obama.
I was inclined to be sympathetic initially, but when he ran off to Moscow he lost me.
Hat tip.
Why? Cold War’s over. If anything we’ve been poking Russia a heck of a lot more than they’ve been poking us.
I wonder what the majority of comments around here would have looked like if this same thing happened under, oh I don’t know, a president Palin.
It wouldn’t have happened under a President Palin.
From Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, 1592:
MERCUTIO:
I am hurt.
A plague o’ both your houses! I am sped.
Is he gone, and hath nothing?
I have mixed feelings on Edward Snowden, but the NSA is definitely guilty of violating the Constitution and violating the rights/privacy of innocent Americans.
The NSA’s power needs to be greatly reduced because they are abusing it.
Aint it odd that this guy claims he had access to all Obamas comms?
SEE.
Obama is a VICTIM.
It is the evil faceless NSA that is BAD.
Yeah something stinks.
I’m on Ben Franklin’s side, which means I support Snowden 10,000%.
I got the popcorn, glad he’s making Obama look silly.
Nothing deeper.
I seriously doubt anything has changed much. Maybe tightening of some protocols but the main theme of what the NSA does will lean forward, as it were.
Could very well be a fight between Stalinists and Trotskyites.
Thank you, dfwgator!
I have a hunch Snowden and President You Didn't Build That are two of a kind: America haters.
Screw that! The NSA needs to be abolished: they have violated not only the 4th Amendment, but the 5th (and possibly the 1st [re: assembly]) and the 6th (the FISA court, how can that not be?). That's 30% of the bill of rights, right there.
Not to mention storing the information. How long until the stored information is used to trigger prosecution of new laws, that is to say: how long until the information is used in Ex Post Facto manner, which the Constitution prohibits?
I’m on America side! Snowden isn’t the problem one way or the other,, its our government that’s the problem
